Mickey at Breakfastosaurus?

In the Unofficial Guide, it lists Mickey, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy at the Breakfastosaurus. I assume Donald is always there, but what about the other characters (Mickey especially)? Is there any way to know in advance (far enough in advance to make ADRs) which ones will be there?

A couple of other questions about Breakfastosaurus:
1) The UG lists a character to guest ratio of 112:1! Are you actually able to meet the characters?
2) How long does breakfast usually last?

Thanks!

Mickey was there in June. It took us about 50 minutes to eat breakfast. All the characters came to our table individually.

Keyser, thanks for reading the book. If it's any help (and I know there'll be other opinions), I didn't love the character breakfast at Breakfastosaurus. The two times I've done it, I've never been able to get hot coffee, the service was slow, and I think I may have seen Donald once. Unless the re-vamp it, I wouldn't go back, even if Bob was paying for the food. :rotfl:

That being said, if you do go, note that at the end of the buffet line (i.e., after you've picked up your eggs, bacon, etc.), there's a place where you can get omelettes custom-made. Had I known this the first time (or remembered it the second), it might have helped....a little.

FWIW, I think the CB at 'Ohaha is the CB best value. Let me know if you'd like alternate dining suggestions in the AK, too.

Good luck where ever you eat, and thanks again for reading the book.

Sincerely,

Len Testa

Hi Len! So cool that you post and answer questions.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree. I loved Donald's. My coffee was nice and hot and plenty of it. We went this past March. Food was plentiful, the biscuits and gravy were awesome for buffet. We had a late meal too, 10:30. The characters were a little slow, but there was a group of about 25 kids there and their coaches and they took forever because they all wanted autographs so we could understand. Donald was really good with dd. I have a picture of him standing behind her pulling her pigtails, it's too cute.

I think there are a lot of restaurants at Disney that can have off times. Anyplace can have a bad month or two when they get a bunch of new staff, so it's possible Len just had bad luck.

Mickey was there and it took about an hour for us to eat and greet.

Forgot to mention that I am taking Len's advice and trying 'Ohana character breakfast this coming trip.

We ate at this breakfast last Saturday. We had an 8am ADR and had a great experience! Our Cm was funny and very attentive. The food was good, typical breakfast food. The bacon was awsome (I love it and rarely eat it). The character interaction was great. In fact some came around twice. I actually had trouble getting to the buffet because I wanted to stay to take pictures!! Mickey was there along with Pluto, Donald and Goofy. I would defintley do it again. My kids had a ball!!

This is my least favorite character breakfast. I think it's just okay.

The servers are a lot of fun, and the character interaction is (as with any character meal) hit or miss. We have had fun characters and not so fun ones that were rushing around.

The food was not the best in my opinion, but if you like standard eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes you will probably like it. I'm not an egg person at all, and the other choices were a bit limited. The biscuits and gravy is not bad, but the biscuits were a bit hard (not soft like they should be.)

Overall I'd give this one a 5 on a scale of 1-10.
