Michiganders, anyone watching KK's sentencing?

I'm watching Kilpatrick's sentencing. He keeps shaking his head, smirking, and generally making faces during the whole proceeding. I thought the sentencing would be a relatively quick formality, but it's not looking that way so far. I hope he's on his way to jail today as was agreed to.

The sentencing hearing is still going on. Lots of long-winded speeches. Now it's mostly KK's lawyers going on about what a great guy he is, so he looks pretty pleased.

I wish they'd sentence him to an extra day of jail for every time he smirks, shakes his head, rolls his eyes, or looks at someone else and laughs. He'd be put away for a lot longer than 4 months. Jerk.

I kept hoping the judge would reprimand him for his behavior and demeanor in court, but at least the judge did dress him down in general pretty well during sentencing.

Did you see the news story about how KK and a group of friends ate at the Detroit Club a few days ago? When the bill came he signed it as if he were still a member (membership is a perk for a sitting mayor), handed it to the waiter, and said, "Charge this to the city."
