Michigan Folks...tell me what not to miss around Petoskey and Traverse City

We plan to go (in our motorhome) in late May or early June. We'll have our bulldog with us, so if you know of any outdoor restaurants that are dog friendly (we find them everywhere we go), I'd appreciate hearing about those too. Thanks!

bring warm clothes, upper michigan (even in the lower penninsula) can be quite chilly that early in the summer.

cute downtown in Petoskey, good restaurants and shopping. we have spent more time in Charlevoix which is in between the two towns. nice beaches in that part of the state.

This restaurant has an absolutely gorgeous outdoor dining area. I don't know if it is pet friendly or not but you could call and ask.
