Well, I think you all realize you'll have to park the bus at PO. Perhaps you wouldn't mind letting this Canuck hook the Hyundai Elantra on the bus's trailer hitch -- I'll be the TOAD. Who else is going to drive you folks to get your groceries? Since it has Ontario licence plates, we'll get about 25% better mileage . I can meet you near Flint!

Arctic cold for weeks on end.....

A seemingly infinite amount of snow....

Abusing my friendships by asking for childcare on snowdays when the elementary school is cancelled, and the college is not! (Thank goodness for my WONDERFUL friends!)

.....But it sure is nice here in the summer!

Is my countdown in double digits yet?

Count us in --- just got back from WDW last Friday night and we're ready to go again! School has been closed for 2 days here --- that's practically unheard of! --- and we just got 27.5 inches of snow Sunday and Monday. We could tunnel our way as far as the UP, I think, and meet you there...

Count me in too! It's 24 days till we visit Belize for a week with no kids and I can't take anymore snow The temps in Belize City have been in the mid to upper 80's - I can't wait!

A lot of the schools in the area have already cancelled school for tomorrow. At least I've got a 4X4 so I know I won't be stuck home with them.

When is that plane leaving or is it a bus we're taking to get out of town???? I'm getting too old for this cold and snow stuff. I think we actually had a heat wave today - my car thermometer thingy actually registered about 26 when I was out earlier.

School is closed again for the 3rd day. We could have taken a 5 day vacation to Florida and not missed any school.

How are things up in East Lansing? I have a DS at MSU and wondered if classes are still going on...

Man, I am so ready to hit the road with everyone. I am sick and tired of the COLD already.

School is closed in East Lansing but MSU didn't cancel.

It doesn't look that bad out but I think there is a layer of ice under most of the snow.

Tell your DS to bundle up

Yep, no school. Kids are bouncing off the walls already!
Problem is that the trucks can't keep up with the side roads--things look pretty good on I96 from what I can see. And the snow has stopped for the time being so I think the bus shouldn't have any trouble.
