I bought a Xyron machine this weekend, have never used one before, any hints, love it, hate it, do you only use it for scrapbooking, etc. etc.

Debbie, I just purchased my xyron a week ago. Got the 250 and I absolutely love it! I don't know how I lived without it before! My girls (7 and 8) can do it too and are loving it for craft projects! It's a wonderful machine. I just ordered the 510 from HSN Sunday and can't wait to get that one too!!!

Did anyone buy the 505 from QVC? I have the hardest time finding refills for it. I'm gonna check on QVC after this. It looks very similar to the 510. I'm wondering if I could just use those refills. Whatya think?

Thank you for the info ........I just bought the X today at Joann's. I thought it would work great with the sixxix letters!! I will have to stock up on the refills!!
