Not happy with my team (the Eagles.) Seriously thinking of not rooting for the Eagles until he's off the team again and I was born bleeding green.

I don't care about "he's done his time, he gets a second chance." I don't believe it's a good move for the team...he hasn't played football since 2006! C'mon people... dumb move. DUMB.

I would NOT have cheered for my team if they had signed him and there were rumors swirling around today that they were very interested. Our website said they weren't but I was really kinda worried.

My future FIL did that when TO went to the Cowboys back in 06. He'd been a diehard Cowboys fan basically since birth (he was born in TX). He was a temporary Broncos fan (no clue why, I think he just picked a random team ) until this year, and now he'll be back rooting for the Cowboys again.

I agree though, it's really not a smart move for the Eagles.. he hasn't played ball in 3 years, but I'll take it one step farther and say I wouldn't want anyone who made the decisions he did playing for my team. Ugh.

And thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one here...the people I'm talking to keep saying "well he's done his time" and "it's a good move" but I disagree. And it's only making me angrier.

Think I might be sporting some Orange for the next two years...root for the Broncos...see if maybe B Dawk can get his very deserved ring!

I've always cheered for Philly when it didn't impact the Bills and I'm really bummed by this. I would have preferred for him to go to Pittsburgh or New England because I already hate them.

Okay you all have literally made my night. I was so angry when I saw this and everyone around me didn't see the big deal. I think it's terrible we signed him. IMO, so many children look up to sports figures and there are too many criminals in the NFL as it is. His has been so highly publicized that there's no excuse to glorify it.

Oh my anger has subsided just knowing that I'm not the only one out there angered by this decision!!

And LuvCuteBoys...I had heard that the Bills were looking at him, but I thought their coach had dismissed it. Ugh...could you imagine T.O. & Vick on the same team??? Btw...good luck with him. All the hub bub surrounding T.O. has made me sick!!

Yeah, the Bills website seemed pretty emphatic that they weren't interested, but sometimes that is just a way to keep the media out I think. But there seemed to be a LOT of buzz today and it worried me.

I'm okay with TO. Whether or not I feel that way in three months remains to be seen, but at this point I'm willing to give him a chance. And I'm enjoy the media hype There's not really anything he could do that would put him on the level of Vick.

I feel for the Eagles fans that aren't happy about this. I do believe people can change... and if his very first order of business was ANYTHING other than trying to get reinstated I might have given him the benefit of the doubt. He could have flipped burgers at McDonald's for a while.

I am totally speechless!! Watching the Eagles preseason game and heard the news. Dh and I just sat here with our mouths open for about 15 min before we could actually say anything. I'm embarrassed to be an Eagles fan right now. I know Vick and McNabb are friends BUT......Do they really need another Qback? I think they should have worked at getting a defensive end and offensive tackle!!!!
