from USA.........Ian has been sick and he refused to take any antibiotics for it....fearing that it would show up in the testing.......these are all great kids.....look at the gymnastics and the kids doing that........I am forever impressed by all of them......

It must be the den leader in me, but I couldn't help noticing that every time Michael Phelps is on the podium and they play the National Anthem, he takes off his olive wreath "crown". My son (the Wolf Cub) also noticed -- and when Paul Hamm didn't remove his, you should have heard Eddie scolding him through the TV screen! I'm sure Phelps must have been a Scout in his early years.

Wow, what a guy! I cry every time I see his mother in the stands because I can imagine how proud she is!

3 cheers for my homeboy. I knew any kid from Baltimore was gonna be a class act. And I've known from the beginning that he was one-of-a-kind, from the first medal ceremony where he took off his wreath to put over his heart.
