In an indignant letter to his supporters, Moore said he had learnt only on Monday that Disney had put the kibosh on distributing the film, which has been financed by the semi-independent Disney subsidiary Miramax.

But in the CNN interview he said: "Almost a year ago, after we'd started making the film, the chairman of Disney, Michael Eisner, told my agent he was upset Miramax had made the film and he will not distribute it."

"Moore told CNN that Disney had "signed a contract to distribute this [film]" but got cold feet. But Disney executives insists there was never any contract. And a source close to Miramax said that the only deal there was for financing, not for distribution. "

Why in the world does anyone respect Micheal Moore or his films anymore?

I do and I can't wait to see it. Eisner sain in a live interview that he was not about to let Mirimax market the film in an election year that to me says there had to be a deal in place for him to be telling the media he was not going to allow it.

I'm gonna love watching this film! If Eisner hated it-it must be
good! Wait, I'm confused...are we back to loving Michael Eisner
now? Any port in a storm. The backers of the current administration will go to any lengths to discredit the truth when
they fear it is coming. Can't wait for the release of Farenheidt 9/11 in the USA!!!!

Actually, I'm beginning to like Eisner.

"Michael Moore is indeed, a liar"

To quote Iago from Aladdin: Wow. There's a big surprise. I think I'm going to have a heart attack and die, from that surprise.

One word for the crap Moore puts out: 'propaganda' ::yes::

I can't wait, either. Bowling for Columbine was one of the best works I have EVER seen.
