Live -- Jackson Family at Murray Hearing

Conrad Murray is in court today in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case. Between 20 and 25 members of MJ's family will be face to face with Dr. Murray in court, as the judge decides whether to yank his medical license.


The hearing scheduled to start at 1:30 PM PT. Stay tuned ...

I dont get it.
So the lawyers are saying "please dont revoke his license becasue he will be broke and wont be able to pay us." So what! Give him one of those court appointed lawyers that all the other broke people have to get! Who cares? This is HIS problem!!! I think if he kills someone else, this judge should go down with him!
I'm sure there is some legal thing that prevents the judge from pulling his license. There always is something. Maybe because he hasnt been proven guilty? Still, I think given the circumstances (Propofol in a home, doc is a liar, etc.) for the safety of future patients he should at least be temporarily de-licensed!

I want to express my concerns regarding the case: The people vs Conrad Robert Murray, case number SA073164. My concerns are about the medical license that Conrad Murray still has today, which makes him able to continue to practice medicine.

I’m really disappointed that Judge Michael E Pastor has ruled that he will postpone his decision about Conrad Murray’s medical license until the preliminary hearing on June 14th, 2010. Not only am i disappointed, but i just can’t understand that this medical license hasn’t been postponed as part of the condition for Conrad Murray’s bail.

The medical board has clearly stated in their report that they feel mr Conrad Murray is a threat to the public. This conclusion leaves it only possible in the court of law to do just one thing…suspend this man’s medical license right away.

At this point nobody should be exposed to the risk of losing their life while he or she is under the medical care of Conrad Murray. So we urge you to look upon this matter and make a ruling about Conrad Murray’s medical License as soon as possible.

In my eyes you not only have a Legal obligation to do everything in your power to get this man's medical license suspended, but you also have the ethical and moral obligation to do this. The people have a right to protection from doctors who are charged with manslaughter, but most of all Michael Jackson, his children and his family have a right to see Justice is being done. And suspending Conrad Murray’s Medical License is a good start to show everybody that justice is being done in this case.

So i ask you once again to please look upon this matter and make sure Conrad Murray’s Medical License is suspended as soon as possible.

Michael Jackson's eyes could be powerful evidence in favor of Dr. Conrad Murray.



TMZ broke the story ... Dr. Murray's lawyers will argue Jackson accidentally killed himself by self-injecting a lethal dose of Propofol into his bloodstream. As we reported, Dr. Murray says he left the bedroom for a short time, came back in and saw Michael with his eyes wide open and pupils dilated.

Medical experts who spoke with TMZ say ... if a patient is sleeping and dies of an overdose, their eyes most likely would not be open. The defense position -- Jackson woke up when Murray was out of the room, became frustrated he couldn't sleep, grabbed the Propofol bottle and "pushed it" -- killing himself.

If a jury believes Jackson's eyes were open, they could also believe Jackson was awake and, perhaps, capable of grabbing the Propofol bottle which was on the nightstand.

This is so much BS im sorry but i saw my grandma die and she was fast asleep when she died... and my mother had to hold her eyes shut for a while because the Dr said when you die nerves are the last things that die . Gosh man these people are so full of it

I have to agree with you. It was a nice gesture but I think that's going a little too far. It's one thing to give them a stuffed animal or a balloon or even flowers but jewelry is a little extreme.

I thought the locket was beautiful, but I suppose under the circumstances it's going a little far. It could have made her sad on a day that was supposed to be a happy occasion.

Yeah, maybe too far. But what I think it really shows is how Michael was really gifted at making his fan feel like they were his family. He was very good at that.
