For the fifth consecutive year, the name Aiden is topping the BabyCenter's list for Most Popular Baby Names for boys.

And for girls? Isabella takes the number one spot away from Emma.

BabyCenter has just released its list of most popular names for the decade and for the year. The 2009 list reveals the influence of pop culture and the affinity for gender neutral names, particularly for girls.

BabyCenter's survey also shows an increase in the popularity of iconic celebrity names, inspired by stars who died. The name Jackson jumped three spots on the 2009 list and is now the third most popular boys name, and the name Heath (Heath Ledger) has also climbed the charts.

(BabyCenter's Top 100 Baby Names list is derived from over 400,000 names submitted by BabyCenter parents of newborns in 2009.)

Actress Kate Walsh arrives at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sept. 20, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.
As a result of Twilight's record breaking success at the box office, several names of the characters have risen on this year's list, including Bella (an impressive #67 after not appearing at all in the 2008 Top 100 list) Alice, Jacob (in the top ten names for boys) and Jasper.
