Michael Jackson Interview

I couldn't stomach seeing the interview. I never liked him when everyone that he was just WONDERFUL. He was weird then. He's weirder now. And I don't imagine he will improve over time. ;)
Nothing new with him. He's been this way for decades.

I said I wasn't going to watch but I did. He's a FREAK! He has serious mental health problems that need to be addresssed before some child gets hurt or WORSE.

Almost every word out of his mouth was a lie. No parent in their right mind would leave their children with this sicko!

I was completely disgusted by him.......He needs to be put away and helped.

It's obvious that MJ has a very fragile state of mental health. Someone who is close to him should stop being a bought and paid for assistant, and get him the help he needs. He has issues that go way beyond what any of us saw on TV lastnight.

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 10 years, as his career fades even more, that he commits suicide.

back under the Rock he crawled out from. His KIDS need to be taken away, and raised with NORMAL people!:o

Doubt that will ever happen, their own "supposed" mother (again, I use that term loosely) thinks he's great with them. Yuck....

I planned to watch this but I forgot it was on.

Does anybody know where I can read a transcript?

Anybody got a link?

Thanks!

Jeez, now you guys are bashing Michael b/c his son's hair is dyed! That's insane. If I had kids and passed away, I'd hope there'd be someone who loves children as much as MJ for me to leave them to.

WHAT-EV-ER!!!! Talk to me when you ACTUALLY have kids, until then you're just talking out of your....

To Joe who loves MJ so much....you are very young I can tell by your posts, and wait until you become a parent and once you have some more experience in the real world, believe me, your opinions will change greatly! Don't poo-poo this advice either...I can tell you from experience, that you change how you view people and the world once you get a few years under your belt!:)

And also, if you think you are yanking some chains here and fishing for the reactions you are getting just for fun, have fun, but nothing that involves the welfare of children should be taken lightly.

Watching that interview was like watching a train wreck. Compelling and attention grabbing, yet sickening and sad at the same time... I feel sorry for him, there are definately some things that are just not right with him. However I feel 100 times more sorry for those kids.. Imagine if Michael grew up weird because of his childhood, what is going to happen to those poor innocent little ones.. It was so sad to see them being forced to wear masks everwhere, how normal is that. And dying that little boy's hair is just the tip of the iceberg as to how MJ will 'mold' his children to fit the image he wants them to be in. Everyone comments on how pale they were, God help them if MJ has made him more pale the same way he has changed his own skin tone. What is more to say, nothing, just so sorry for those kids. It is really too bad MJ's family couldn't or didn't get him the help he had to have obviously needed years ago.

And I'd probably let my kids go there, Michael is a child at heart and all the kids there seemed to be having fun.

If I had kids and passed away, I'd hope there'd be someone who loves children as much as MJ for me to leave them to.

Well, which is it? Do you have children or don’t you?
Do you personally know Michael? Is that why you would trust him with kids/had kids?
Or being as you don’t know him personally, you would send them over anyway-to a stranger,
To someone you don’t even know?

I’d probably let my kids go there. Wait a minute. Probably? Why not absolutely, positively?

Seemed to be having fun. Is that an opinion? Or do you have experience as a child psychologist?
What is your experience as a parent and making choices and being responsible for those choices?

What is up with MJs family members?? Do they not see what potential damage he is doing to those three kids ??

Naming a child "blanket", like an inanimate object??!! No wonder he dangles it over the edge of the balcony--to him it's just an attention getter. then to say he heard the baby "singing" to him while it was dangling  and that the baby was "one" with it...that is sick.

Any of us with children...answer me this. Would you have paid some attention to your children in that mess at the zoo to make sure they were ok?? wouldn't you have walked with them...picked them up...anything ?? MJ was just in it for himself and that truly showed me that it IS all about him.

If the world gives him more children, either by adoption or by another "mother", then we all lose because those kids will be so screwed up!!
Get those kids out of there now .

I know this goes back a few pages now....I don't need to be told that people come in many hues and colors. I know that just by looking at someone you cannot necessarily tell their ethnicity and I wouldn't presume to judge someone that way. Michael Jackson was for a great deal of his life a very dark skinned person. He no longer looks this way. I have seen people who suffer from the pigment problem he sometimes claims is responsible for his looks and they do not look like him. Their physical features did not change and their skin looks more like someone who has suffered burns than someone who has been dipped in paint. It is unlikely, though admittedly not impossible, that his children would look completely white. OJ and Nicole Simpson's children do not necessarily look black or white but they are not as fair as Nicole.

I also noticed that Michael seems to be unsure of who is the mother of his last child. She is either an unknown surrogate or a close love who wishes to remain anonymous. He said both during the interview. Tatum O'Neil came forward today to correct his story on their relationship. She said that they were friends but, as a 12 year old, she did not try to seduce him.

Michael lives in a fantasy world. His career is slipping and this publicity stunt seems to have backfired on him. Hopefully, he will be able to conserve his money so that he can continue to live his fantasy.

Pathological liar.

...and it's sad, both for him, and those poor kids.

Did you guys see this since MJ's interview...

Jackson Files Complaints on Documentary
Fri Feb 7,11:35 AM ET

By MICHAEL McDONOUGH, Associated Press Writer

...."
Record stores in Britain reported a surge in sales of Jackson's records. Virgin Megastores said sales of his 1982 "Thriller" album were up 473 percent from last week, while the greatest hits package "HIStory" was up 383 percent — sending both albums into the lower reaches of the chain's Top 100 chart. "

Come on now! Why would people want to rush out and buy his old albums anyhow? Don't they realize they are just supporting him and his sick little deviant world?! UUUGGGGHHHHH!

I'm beginning to believe the whole deal, the documentary, and now the objections to it all, have a carefully crafted way for MJ to get back into the limelight, to get a little "face" time, as his popularity has been going downhill for awhile. Maybe all this is just a ruse to get those records selling again. No one could be as stupid as he obviously is acting about all this, saying that "he had not idea" this film would be edited to make him look bad. Yeah, right....

I still find it hard to believe that anyone would think that the interview was 'edited' to make Michael look bad. What I mean here is, we all heard the words coming out of his, MJ's, mouth. Maybe the journalist asked pointed questions, but Michael answered them. The only thing that the journalist MAY be guilty of is telling Michael that the interview would be edited to make him look good and it wasn't. Maybe he, the journalist, honestly thought this interview would explain Michael better and make him look better until he met him and talked to him. I, personally, didn't care about what the journalist's opinions were of MJ during the interview. MJ's own words were shocking enough to me, the journalist could have said nothing at all but MJs words spoke volumes..

You may be right thought Mickey4ever, maybe this was all a big scheme of MJ's and his publicist to get the world talking about MJ again. I mean look at all the press he has gotten over the last week, and you know what they used to say in Hollywood. No press is bad press.

Did you notice on the interview footage that the fans in Europe were the ones featured?
Nary a second of footage of his US "fans" acting that way. In fact, those disadvantaged kids at Neverland didn't look at all impressed with him as a person, just with all the facilities.

The increased sales in Europe show that he is much more "revered" in that part of the world than here. He may eventually move there to live full time. Appeared that Germany is crazy for him.

I was watching something else last night about all this, and the comment was made, and I have to agree, MJ is/should be extremely savvy in matters of being "in the spotlight", on stage, "acting" and what he says in public. He's been in the entertainment world too long to use the excuses he is coming up with....he HAS to know better when he has spent the better part of his life in the world of entertainment. He might be "dumb" in some things, but he is sly like a fox me thinks. He is manipulating the limelight right now, look at all the publicity (even bad) he is garnering from this show.

Mickey4ver:

You bring up a very good point.....I agree about his ability to manipulate.
However, it may have backfired a bit as to his dialogue around "sharing your bed is the truest form of love...." regarding kids in his room and also how his children were "handled" by him and how that appeared to the outside world.

He better be careful--all money can be spent in some way. Lawsuits can be very expensive, and his wealth is not endless. I don't care what happens to him; just don't want those kids in the firing line as well.
I, for one, will not be make another MJ purchase.
