Michael Jackson Interview

Our local news web site asked what people thought of MJ after that interview. You would not believe some of the answers.

Some people said it was a racial thing. Why do you pick on black people, Kind of answer. I could not believe that!

It has nothing to do with the color of his skin.
I question his competency to raise three children.

Now, while I am a kid at heart, just like MJ, I do not let children sleep in my bed. No, wait a minute, I let my kids get in bed with me now and again.
Do I let the neighbor kids get in my bed....NO! What are you, crazy?
He is the one that will bringing on the backlash, not us.

I, too, felt sorry for him at the beginning of the interview. I felt bad that he was raised on stage. But, by the end of the interview, I felt sick. One thing I cannot tolerate is anyone lying to me. JMO...he was lying....JMO.....

As far as his surgeries go...I could care less. If I could afford it, I would have my eyes done. (kind of droopy lids) I would love to have it done. What he does to his body, is his business.

He did lie about his third baby. In the beginning of the interview, when asked he said that the mother of Blanket was a past love of his. At the end of the interview, when pushed by the interviewer he slipped and said that he has never seen the mother and doesn't know who she is. That she was just a surregate.

"Just a surrogate"

Don't most folks INTERVIEW the surrogate, at least meet her to see what she looks like?

He is more white than me!!!

i didn't watch all of the interview (had to watch Friends first!) what i did see bothered me...it scared me when he held that newborn over the railing of the balcony...he didn't seem very comfortable feeding his own child...and the whole gavin thing bothered me...it makes me wonder what the boy's parents think...my DH even pointed out the similiarities with his train and the station to disneyland...the whole thing was just odd...

I, too, could care less what he does to his own body, etc.

I am greatly concerned about the children. 10-20 yrs down the road you're looking at some major messed up people!!!

I only saw a bit of the interview, but from the way he held the kid over the balcony and then from the way he held the kid while he was trying to feed it and then got up ... I get the impression he doesn't handle the baby that much! Maybe he's more into the older kids.

I couldn't believe that he would subject his children to a visit to the zoo when so many reporters were there!!! It demonstrated a lack of concern for the well-being of the kids ... only thinking of himself and how proud he is to be in possession of children.

Another point is ... who are these parents that allow their kids to spend time with MJ??? Are they getting paid for the use of their kids or what? Why would a parent in his right mind allow their children to play and sleep with a 44 yr old??? Especially one with the reputation of MJ?

I would bet because of his wealth and celebrity status nothing really can/will be done except for the negative public opinion.

Very sad.

One thing I picked up on, was he kept saying (regarding the baby dangle on the balcony) was "I was not trying to kill my children, why would I try and kill them"....don't recall he was being accused of trying to kill them, but people are commenting that it was a totally irresponsable and dangerous thing to do. He keeps saying the tight, firm grip he had, doesn't look that way to me, he had the babies feet tangled up on the rail and was joggling him around to get him over the rail.

I always liked Liz Taylor (still appreciate her movies/talent) but on Larry King the other night, she is as damn looney as MJ, I can see why they are friends. She defended him (she who claims to also love children so much) on the baby dangle incident "did you see the tight grip Michael had on that child"....yikes, those with the dough and weird lifestyles stick together.

I also feel this is a form of child abuse, making those children tag along after him with masks on....come on, give me a break MJ, what kind of life is that for them?? And the "supposed" mother, Debbie whatever her name is, saying she can't believe people saying things about him, he loves his children, wouldn't harm them etc.....this coming from a "mother" (I use that term loosely) who in my book didn't give those kids as "presents" (again, who calls their children presents?) but "sold" them to him in exchange for an easy life. She is right up there in the catagory with him, whacko. I can't believe she even dares to come out an make a comment, she doesn't deserve to be called a mother JMHO.

That sums it up! and scary it is. I really think he needs to be investigated again, this is not normal behavior from a grown man.

I noticed his son Prince had dark roots as well. I guess I wasn't the only one who thought it was dyed. Why would someone do that to a child? Obviously he wants his children to look a certain way. God help poor Prince if Michael doesn't like his nose!! :(

Just for the record--I didn't make any comment about the color of his children's skin, lightness or darkness or whatever.

I didn't see the interview, but imo, there is NO excuse he could have made for dangling that kid over the balcony. I don't care how much his father abused him, he should know better. :(

As far as Liz Taylor, she must either be on his payroll, or as crazy as he is. I don't see how anyone could defend him dangling the baby.

I don't care about his plastic surgeries, the fact that he went from a beautiful coffee colored man to some sort of freak, what color is his kids are, or any other details of his private life. The only thing I make comment on is what I saw when he risked the life of that little defensless baby. Sick, sick, sick.

The 12 year old boy in the interview had life threatning cancer and lived through it. He said that MJ was his friend thru the whole ordeal.
maybe MJ paid the bills or something and that is why the family lets the kids stay with him. The 12 yr old probably likes MJ because of all the toys and rich life he had and MJ shares that with him.

well that was what I was thinking might explain the 12 yr old boy being friends with him.

the whole interview was just sad. I did not see the first 30 mins and did not notice that the boys hair was dyed. how sad. :(

Has nothing to do with race. Has everything to do with money.

MJ has the money to buy whatever he wants: Neverland, trains, toys, children. Flame me if you want but that's what I believe. He bought those children. Whether they are biologically his or not, I have no clue. I didn't watch the show. I did read a bit about it prior to the airing but I did not watch so maybe I have no right to speak here but it is still my opinion that he buys children.

I can actually be more forgiving about the baby dangling incident than the interview. I can almost see a parent doing something stupid on a whim and then thinking "I can't believe I did that". Him defending it as normal bothers me more. Usually during celebrity interviews you see a lot of "I made mistakes in the past, but...". MJ's total defense of himself and his actions at all times was very disturbing - THAT is sick.

I think MJ is buying more than children. He is buying his own freedom. As numerous people have stated, if you or I would be acting the way he is with children we would be locked up and the key thrown away. It just disgusts me. I did see the interview with Ms. Allred this morning. She seems like the only person that wants to have an investigation take place--hopefully to get the children away from MJ. I just cannot imagine any parent in their right mind allowing them to spend one second with MJ. Has this world gone mad?!

Jeez, now you guys are bashing Michael b/c his son's hair is dyed! That's insane. If I had kids and passed away, I'd hope there'd be someone who loves children as much as MJ for me to leave them to.

A few things that I noticed was how much the daughter clung to him, always making sure she was holding his hand. And also it looked like the baby that he was feeding looked bigger than the baby he dangled. Did anyone else notice that?

And also how he was buying everything in that store, was that just for show or in the end did he really buy them?

It was all very strange.

I said I wasn't going to watch the freak, but I did.

I do feel sorry for him because of the abuse he suffered. His father must have been a real tirant!!!

Did you see the part when he was in Las Vegas in his hotel room, and they showed the scooter for handicap people? He said he rode it up and down the halls late at night. Well, I have a scooter because of my MD. What I can't figure out is why the hell would you want to ride one if you didn't have too. That totally freaked me out.

Also the way that little 12 year old boy hung on to him. I wanted to puke! How could a parent let their kids around such a person. Can't they see what is going on?

He sure is messed up!

How about when he said he only had the nose jobs to help him breathe and hit the higher notes, well when he spoke it sounded very "nasally" to me.

I'm not bashing him about it. I just think it's weird. How many people dye their 6-year-old's hair? MJ obviously is unhappy with the way God made him and now he's going dump that load on his son. What kind of message does that send to a child? I don't like your hair dark, so I'm going to dye it blond.

He obviously has issues with being black and I think dyeing his son's hair is just another manifestation of that problem.

I do think the oldest two children are his. Not sure about the baby. Even his own mother has expressed disbelief on that one.
