People..com is reporting Jacko has suffered a serious heart attack and is in critical condition.

First we lost Farrah today and now and other icon is ill. I feel so old.

The AP just reported that he passed away.

ETA: The AP is showing that he passed away on the sidebar of the Yahoo! news report, but the actual AP website still says he was hospitalized.

From what I can tell the news channels are quoting TMZ but then go on to say it's unconfirmed I think they put it out so you keep on watching

The LA Times reported that he died. I always thought he was one of the most gifted artists - his dancing was incredible but he allowed himself to get so messed up it was hard for me to appreciate him in later years.
