Thats the "trophy" analogy.I just think that kind of argument has nothing to do with what we are talking about here. Laughing at somebody's expense to make someone feel bad has never been funny......not now, not 20 or 30 years ago. It has nothing to do with the "trophy argument."
We are so busy trying to make sure that no one, even random unknown strangers don't get insulted or "feel" bad that we've moved to this 24/7 watch every word out of your mouth, watch every picture you post because that blurry stranger may get upset.
Last April, I sent an instagram to my sister of a women pushing a dog in a baby pram. was I trying to make her feel bad? no. did I think it was the stupidest sight I've seen and got a laugh out of it? yes.
Only difference?? I'm not a celebrity so the animal lovers could care less
Guess im just missing the big offense.
