So we have decided to fly into Miami versus FLL as the rates have lowered and now with JetBlue charging for bags, it becomes cheaper. My issue though is trying to figure out pre cruise hotel and then shuttle to port as there will be 7 of us total and I was hoping to not have to bring my car seat for my 3 year old along. I know that if we stay at an airport hotel, we can shuttle back over in the am and pay the Disney shuttle price so was looking for any advice or suggestions. Thank you.

I have not gone on a Disney cruise yet but I have cruised often from Mia. We stay at the Hilton, they have a precruise package deal with shuttle service to the port. It's called snooze and cruise. I think it is cheaper for you guys to get a private transport company then to take the shuttle, IMO. If you do they have car seats.

p.s. if you take a cab you do not need a car seat for a child.

i stayed at they Hyatt House. Was free shuttle from airport to hotel. Then we just cabbed in the AM to the port for like $24. there is a grocery store to walk to for any pre trip goodies you may need.

The two private companies i called do not have car seats...the hotels can shuttle us to the port but looking at return back to airport
