Juli, I think this storm was supposed to be the worst along 70 and I am about 5-10 miles away from there. We are supposed to be getting the mix here. Still watching and waiting though.

I hope that everyone has a great time at the meet tomorrow - I will miss being there and seeing all of you! I'm still on my road trip - driving up the east coast tomorrow - depending on that storm! Someone please tell everyone I said "hi". If you're driving in that weather tomorrow - be safe! Hopefully I'll see you at the next meet.

Sue, yes we're meeting in the food court between 12 & 1. I'm thinking where Laura grouped us last time (off to the side at that long group of tables) should work again. Don't let Laura know I said she did a good job on setting up her first meet! Cause she's doing it again & her head will swell!

And to Mr. Murphy, you go 1200 miles to DIS meets all the time This is only a quarter of that distance & I'd be glad to pick you up at Metro airport (Of course Novi isn't quite the hot spot WDW is!) We'll miss you too Dan!

I am so upset guys... around here our roads are totally snowed over with no sign of clearing at all It is still snowing and they expect it to snow through out all of today with winds beginning to pick up and cause whiteout conditions. I seriously cannot make out where the roads are (I mean I know where they are supposed to be) but I know we won't be cleared in time and I don't want to risk it, especially since I would have to leave so early to get there. I saw on the news last night that our area of Columbus was hit the hardest (that was as of last night so don't know if that is still true) so I am sure if I had lived a little more north or east that I could make it.

Take tons of pictures all and I really really really wish I could be there!!!!!

John, I have something for you that I promised a long time ago and I'll get that mailed out on Tuesday for you. I was going to bring it today.

I really do wish I could be there but I am not comfortable at all leaving this house in a car right now and walking is a bit too far for me Enjoy the day all

We'll miss you! but, your safety is the most important thing & you're right not to take any chances. We were very lucky here & got no snow or ice at all.

Yep, definitely this summer at the latest!!! It isn't disasterous from what I can tell right now but except for one set of tracks on one street and the dog that did his business on my front yard (no leash too ) it's beautifully white out here I'll be sure to take pictures today and show you all what you missed too

Well you know it is bad when they close all of the public libraries and 2 of the three colleges here - so glad everything that Kara had to do today has been cancelled and we can stay home safe and sound - bored - but safe and sound

Elaine, I do understand. As Laura said, your well being is more important to us than seeing you today. After all, you can't drive those record speeds in the deep snow!
I too had a little something for my DP, but I'll just have to mail it!
Please leave your cell phone on as we just may have to teach Lars & Jen how to 'work the phone' LOL

I don't know if they have closed our libraries around here. So many people walk to those that they might have enough staff that can to keep it going. Ohio State has only closed 2 times in my lifetime so I wouldn't be shocked if they remained opened yesterday and today. I do know that all dances and all that which were supposed to take place today were canceled. We might be bored here too... hopefully if I decide to walk to Graeter's later that will be open (I'm a block away) but otherwise I think we'll be indoors all day. Oh except for shoveling the driveway. We might do that soon before round two hits

John, you are terrible!!!! I am sure that if I lived a bit further north I could make it there in record time!!!! My cell is on and I would love it if you all would call me If not I have your cell and Laura's too so watch out

We had at least that as well Marla... I just shoveled the driveway so it wouldn't be impossible to do later. I wish I could be in Michigan right now far away from all of this!!!!

Sorry to report that I send Kara out and taught her the fine arts of using the snow blower - gotta love kids who want to play out in the snow - she did porch, driveway sidewalks and neighbors sidewalks and driveway -

I found out that while I was out shoveling, my dad called and said what he did with his snow blower. Don't know why he couldn't come visit us since we live just down the road. I really wished we had one and am so glad we only have a 1 car garage.

I'm home in ohio safe. NO snow until I got to just north of Marion and roads were clear until I got to our road.
