MHT Question

I am 9 and am typing in my mama's name and have questions about Mickey's Halloween Treat that we are going to on Ocober 19. I am wondering if the characters give out candy?
Waht kind of candies will there be and what is on the treat bags and will there be anything in them? Also are both parks really decorated up? Can Mama trick or treat too with me? what are some things the adults wear because i want to tell my mommy so she can look spooky too. Thank you!

Hi ! The charaters are there but it is people giving out the treats, and yes grown ups get candy too......and it's good candy......not just yucky hard candy like at the mall........lot's of CHOCOLATE !
You may want to bring a sturdier bag , the one they give out is plastic and may tear. I got some at walmart that have a drawstring and can be a backpack for $4.oo they have pumpkin , ghost and something else on them.
I am going as Elizabeth for POC in her Empress dress. My 8 year old will be a scary clown and the 10 year old as this guy a big bannana! Alot of families dress up as a theme , say all from the same movie. Both parks are decorated but MHT is only in DCA. Have a grreat trip we go the week before you!

I will be thre the same day as you! My little girl is going as Snow White, then I am trying to convince all the adults to wear plain colored t-shirts and be the 7 large dwarfs...

Ohhhh, my. I was picturing hard candies, Smarties and Tootsie Rolls, things we could easily pass up or get just a little bit of. But chocolate?!

DARN. Now we're going to have stand in line for candy. Hopefully the kids won't be whining that they don't want anymore, and I'll be the one saying, "But it's chocolate!"

We will be there the same day as you!! My DGD (4 yrs old) will be Belle.

Her Mama, Papa and I will be wearing matching tie-dyed pirate shirts. I've spent the day tie-dying them. maybe you will see us.

and dang....CHOCOLATE...... WOWSER guess we need goodie bags for the grown-ups.

Both parks are decorated but MHT is only in DCA.

Just a clarifying question.....you only get in to DCA with MHT? Or they only give candy there? Please tell me more. We're going for the first time on 10/30 and I anticipated going on the rides in DL.

Mickey's Halloween Treat is a separate ticketed event. Tickets are $29 in advance and $39 at the gate. All Fridays and Halloween night are already sold out. Disneyland will be open as normal, but CA will close early and reopen at 6:30 or 7:30 depending on the night. You can certainly see all the decorations in DL if you are going to be there, but you must have a separate ticket for MHT.

We do have the separate ticket for MHT for 10/30, would I have to get separate admission to DL that evening if we want to go to DL? Or does the separate MHT admission cover both parks?

MHT only covers DCA for the Halloween Party from 6:30 to 10:30 or 7:30 to 11:30. Separate admission is required to enter DCA before 6:30 or to go to DL.
