MGM to MK to MGM?

What's the quickest, easiest way to get from MGM to MK or MK to MGM. We really want to ride Splash Mountain but will only be there for one day before it goes into rehab in Jan. We are staying at BCV and thought we might split the day. Should we just drive?

If I remember correctly there is a bus that goes from all the parks to Transportation center. And from there take the monorail or boat over to MK and then vice versa.

If there isnt then take a bus to Contemporary or Poly or GF and just get on the monorail from there.

To get to MK you will need to park at the Transportation Center and take the bus over though. You could take a bus and do a similar thing it will just take waaaaay longer. You could also take the boat to the swan/dolphin and catch a bus from there to MK. It is going to be a haul. I would either end my day or start it there instead of back and forth. Have fun and happy Splash Mountain. Also make sure it is up and running before you begin your Mecca- it can be closed early for refurbrishment. Is there a reason why you made that day your MGM day? Can't it be your MK day? (and I am assuming you don't have kids because that adds about 1 hour onto every travel option)

We already have 2 days planned at MK..one with CRT breakfast and the other with California Grill reservations. Both of the MK days are at the end of the trip when we will be staying at GF. Since we are staying at BCV in the beginning, we were planning on Epcot and MGM so we could walk but we don't want to miss Splash Mountain. We do have kids-more or less...11 and 17. This is our daugher's senior trip...she chose WDW over Caribbean, Hawaii, etc. She loves it!

You could go back to the boardwalk area (any resort) and take a bus to the MK. Or take a bus from the Studios to the Contemporary and take the ten minute walk to the MK. Going back just walk over to the CR or monorail over to any MK resort and take a bus to the Studios.
