MGM to MGK

Hi,

We are hoping to get to see Fantasmic this Sunday at MGM. The Magic Kingdon is open late that night and on the off chance that we have any energy left we were thinking of heading over there for some fun. What would be the quickest way to do that?

Bus to Contemporary and walk to the Magic Kingdom; or bus to the Grand Floridian and monorail (may be the same bus)

At times there are buses from park to park - check the bus transportation board outside MGM as you are leaving the park.

To get from MGM to MK, I HIGHLY recommend bus to Contemporary or Grand Floridian (and then WALK from Contemporary or monorail from GF). Otherwise, the only "direct" option is a bus from MGM to the TTC, and then monorail or ferry from there. This option takes a while. A few weeks ago, we went from MK to AK, and we did it by monorail to TTC, then bus from TTC to AK. This took almost a hour. I kinda get the feeling it woulda been quicker for us to take the AKL bus from MK, and then once at AKL take a bus to AK.

Not 'at times', but always... BUT the bus between Magic Kingdom and Disney/MGM Studios requires the use of the monorail in addition to the bus - it stops at MGM, yes, but on the other end it only stops at the TTC.
