MGM Studios backlot tour- open in Dec?

I know the Osbourne lights will not be on this year b/c they are doing construction on the backlot ( ). My question, does this mean the backlot tour/catastrophe canyon is also closed?

The backlot tour should remain open. However, Residential Street has already been destroyed, so keep in mind that the Backlot tour is not going to be what you remember. I see no reason why it should be closed though at this point.

Nope, Backlot Tour will remain in operation.

My DS8's list includes Catastrophe Canyon. He's never been and won't notice anything missing! Thanks for the info.
