Are the Characters from Star Wars around to have pictures taken with the children?

I believe the Star Wars characters are only around during the Star War Weekends held in May. They extended it this year to June so we were there one day when this took place. They had storm troopers standing overhead over the turnstiles and various characters all over the park.
It was fun to see.

We've had pictures taken with Chewbacca before. Once in awhile, he will be outside Star Tours.

They're not out that often unless it's a Star Wars Weekend. Though occasionally you'll find a few from time to time.

Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper were around for autographs and pictures over Thanksgiving.

We were there on Friday November 25th and Darth Vader and a white dude (stormtrooper?) were right outside the Star Wars gift shop area posing for pictures and Darth was signing autographs. Needless to say, my DS's (6 and 9) were thrilled!

Glad to hear that they are out at other times than just the SW weekends. I met Chewbacca at Star Tours in Disneyland Paris (long time ago now), which made my day! The costumes are awesome.

Yeah.. Remember, Chewy is tall. Very tall...and the Ewoks are verrrry small...Sometimes it's hard to find a "friend" for them if you know what I mean. But every once in a while Chewy, a Stormtrooper, and rarely Vader or Boba do show up. Ewoks and the face characters are usually only there during SWW.
