MGM Restaurants?

We realy enjoy the food and atmosphere at the Sci-Fi. The restaurant looks like a real drive in theater. You sit in cars and order from a car hop. We have eaten the ribs, the flat iron steak sandwich, the salad, the Reuben sandwich, the onion rings, the chili dip, the BLT soup and the hot dogs. Everything was delicious. The desserts are super good.

We liked our dinner at Mama Melrose.

This time, we're returning there, but we're also trying 50s Prime Time for the first time.

50's Prime Time was cute for the experience. Our "Cousin" waiter wasnt very enthusiastic so I imagine it could have been alot more fun. The food was plentiful and very American ie; Fried Chicken, Meatloaf, Pot Roast etc. My Dh doesnt like any sit down restaurants in MGM so we will be heading over to Cape May Cafe the day we are visiting MGM. Have fun.

I'm a fan of Sci-Fi. The kids love the glowing ice cubes (you have to pay OOP if you're on the DDP). The onion rings and milkshakes are great and the atmosphere is unique! Beware, though, it's very dark.

I'm not a big fan of 50s but in all fairness, we only ate there once. You have one "eh" experience and you just don't want to waste a meal with so many other choices, imho.

Our favorite restaurant, Hollywood Brown Derby is at MGM. It is pricey - but really yummy!

Sci Fi is really a fun restaurant, but it's kind of dark, and they play old monster movie clips or they did a few years ago, the food was not my favorite. It made my DD4 nervous at the time.

The food at 50's Prime time is yummy and the atmosphere is like eating in grandma's kitchen. Bright, cheerful, and nagging just like my meemee.:rotfl2:
