MGM parking question

I am staying just off site. Do I have to go thru the Main Entrance to get to the MGM parking lot or is there a separate entrance into the park. What time should I plan on getting there to ensure a spot as i am going down for Super Soap Weekend.

depending on where you are located off site is how you can get into WDW. Either way you have to get on WDW property and then go to MGM. If I were you I'd get there at opening.

thanks as i wasn't sure if i had to go thru main gate or not. i am staying just east of MGM and a little north of the main entrance ( 2 miles ) according to the hotel info. ( off of 4 and 192 ) easy access according to my map anyway.
