Just wondering how long does it take to do MGM?? Is it as big as MK?? How often do the shows run?? :  :earsgirl:

It takes us a full day to do MGM. That includes seeing every show and riding just about every ride. We go back another 1/2 day to do everyone's favorites. The shows are different check the schedule.

I would spend a whole day or two half days at MGM. We could have even spent more time in order to go on favorites twice. Many of the kid shows are only shown between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Millionaire's last show is at 6:40 p.m. We did an afternoon one day and a late night the next. It's fun to go on some rides like Tower of Terror at night, plus there's Fantasmic.

MGM is a full day park unless you have a AP. Shows are 60 to 90 minutes apart. Fantasmic, a must see, is at the end of the day. Depending on park hours there is one or two showings. The second is better for lower crowds unless you have little people that need to get to bed.

Near the Indiana Jones show is the BackLot Counter service and have good sandwiches and good prices, for Disney. Recommend the tuna Croissant.

Thank you for your help! Is a good idea to start this park early in the morning or wait until about noonish??

I live near the park and my experience for MGM is early. Also bear in mind that during the month of August, as well as July, we have afternoon thunderstorms. So plan accordinly.
