I know Playhouse Disney, but, what else will a 3 yr old boy like at MGM?

He is fearless, loved Bugs life at AK and HM at MK - was yelling BOO so loud in HM that the people behind us could hear him. LOL.

MuppetVision, Little Mermaid and Fantasmic.

Our 3 year old liked Muppets 3-D, and of course meeting Buzz and Woody! He also liked the Indiana Jones stunt show (although on the video tape you can hear him ask his dad if mommy was going to go home with them, I was lucky enough to be picked as an extra thanks to these boards :) ), he also enjoyed Star Tours (but we did have to talk him into it) and the "3 o'clock parade" as well as Fantasmic.

There is plenty to do for the younger set. I don't think he didn't like anything we did, of course he is the type if his older brother does it he wants to too.

Have fun.

My kids love the Honey I Shrunk the ... playground & Muppetvision.

The playground is great, although if you have more than one child per adult it is hard to keep an eye on everyone.

The parade is also great. My DD's have always loved it.:)

You are fortunate that he is fearless. Our 3 year old DS is the opposite. He is terrified of the characters and of anything resembling a theater.

We've tried dragging him into Playhouse Disney (he loves Bear in the Big Blue House) and Muppetvision, but had to leave before the shows even started because he put up such a fight. We know he would like it if he could just get over this weird theater fear, but we're not comfortable subjecting others to his tantrums. He does love the HISTK playground, though.

Our 1 yo DD is like your DS. I think she would love ToT if she were big enough to go on it.:earseek:

If he is fearless and tall enough (40") you could try Tower of Terror. My 4yo thought that ToT was so funny--he loved the drops and the spookiness didn't bother him. I'll have to say that at 3yo he might not have liked it, but he was a big chicken at 3yo. Sounds like your son isn't.

Is there a trick/strategy to getting picked as an extra??? Was this a thread awhile back? DO TELL!!!!;)

All those mentioned as well at Beauty and the Beast, the afternoon parade and the Sci -Fi drive in for lunch.

If 40 inches tall-definitely Tower of Terror.

Both of our boys were tall enough by 3 1/2 and both of them absolutely love it.

Indiana Jones and Honey I Shrunk the Kids play yard is great!

I have an old map from 2001 that list the Honey I shrunk the kids playground as 4 and up. Is that still true or can any youngerr child play there now?

thanks,

Paul

I think any age can use the playgound. It's hard to keep track of a child in there, though, so maybe that's why they list the age restriction.

We went in 2000 when DD was 2 and she played in the HISTK playground. There were many kids her age and yougner. I think the 4 and up is a recomendation, not a restriction.
