I am taking my elderly parents to MGM the first week of December. Will we need fastpass for the new lights motor action stunt show ? About how much time should do you dis'ners allow for seeing Osbourne lights ?

Hi

We did the show Motor Show twice recently. The stadium feels quite large (don't know how many you can pick in) and the views OK from both near the front and further back. Both time we got Fast Passes but these were just handed out by CM's rather than putting your park ticket in a machine. Near show time two queues formed side by side for the "Standby" and "Fast Pass" entrances but the fast past holders did seem to get priority. From our seats we could see people still coming in very close to show time. All in all I would say get the pass if possible and you should get a seat a little quicker and cut down on some standing in line time (there is a giant video screen in the stadium which gives some pre-show trivia questions).

Cheers (it's a great show).

Between Christmas and New Years is the busiest time of the year. You'll need some divine intervention to help you with the crowds, let alone fastpass.

We are not going between Christmas and new Years. Our trip is the first week of December.

The first week of December should be a great week to be at WDW. I don't know about the Osbourne lights, but you can get Fast Passes for the car stunt show without locking out other FP. It's like a free Fast Pass that is not linked to the other Studios attractions. The stadium is HUGE but when we were there in June it was competely filled. I don't think you will have nearly that many people the first week in December. I would still recommend Fast Passes so you won't have to stand in a long line (like we did!).

Osbourne lights are a walk through the streets(old New York area), it is very crowded right at opening time(when they turn on the lights) it is also very crowded when Fantasmic lets out. But then again I was there Thanksgiving weekend. So you going the first week in December it should not be packed with people. Osbourne lights are very nice, they have street vendors selling snacks and hot chocolate. The lights are breath taking, you can spend a much time or as little time as you like once you get there.
