I was thinking of doing FDP at Hollywood & Vine. Now I am torn between that & 50's Prime Time Cafe. Which is the "must do'" for you?

I've never eaten at Hollywood and Vine...but 50's Primetime is soooo much fun and the food is yummy too!!! I'd definately recommend it!!!

Thanks....that's what I thought. People seem to really like 50's.

Anyone else?

Primetime is a fun choice and we go there almost every visit. If you want a great meal go to the Brown Derby. Its fun and a little more upscale but not snooty at all. You can wear whatever you wear in the parks. try the grapefruit cake-its sounds ughh but its delicious!!

Having visited both...for me, the food was actually better at H&V than at Prime Time - but if you have never been there yet, it's a must visit - so much fun if you are all in the mood. You can go to 50's hungry, but not cranky, because IMHO, the interaction just doesn't appeal to some. H&V, when we were there, was relatively quiet and the options were great on the buffet.
In fact - just got my Fantasmic pkg at H&V for next week at the "right " time.
Enjoy - whichever you choose!

We went to H&V for our dinner package and were very glad. It was summer, and so hot, and it was a great low key place to relax. The kids, DH and I all loved the food. I would go here again.

Having eaten at Prime Time just last week (and never been to H&V or Brown Derby), I can say I totally enjoyed Prime Time. The baked cheese appetizer was outstanding and the fried chicken dinner was good too. They had a few other more upscale choices on the menu than plain ole fried chicken, but that's what sounded good to me that day. The cream cheese mashed potatos were outstanding.

It was a fun, friendly, and definitely unique place to have dinner!!

50's all the way!!! Brown Derby is WAY over priced. The food was okay but a limited menu. Our first night we're having dinner at Primetime. I can taste the pot roast now. :earboy2:

Definately Prime Time. The food is good, the theming and atmosphere are fun. H&V reminds me too much of a high school cafeteria, especially the noise level.

Another vote for 50's PTC as a "must do." Actually, for our family, it's a must do at least TWICE per trip. The food, the fun, the atmosphere... all-around great!

Okay, I have decided to go with 50's. I am not sure my son or DH would be that interested in Fantasmic. Still have plenty of time to decide.

Boy, picking places for ADR's is even harder than picking a resort!

Thanks everyone!
