MGM Closing time ?

I have two related questions about MGM closing time in January. I see it listed as 7 but I also saw that Fantasmic is at 7. Do they keep attractions open during the show or do they all close down.
Second question is the EMH evening at MGM. Does it begin at 7 when the official park closing is or after the Fantasmic show.

The rides and other shows end at 7. For EMH hours, they start at the posted cosing time and last 3 hours. In this case, if MGM closes at 7, it would end at 10.

MGM is the one park that EMH does not work at since there are really only 2 rides people want to ride, and they are side by side, don;t expect to walk on them

The only way to walk on is if there is an 830 Fantasmic, but after that performance those rides get jammed.

In June they re-opened the Fast Pass Machines at the Studios once the evening EMH started. I suggest you grap FP for your favorite attraction at the start of EMH. This way even it there is along line you can use your FP since the return time at the beginning of EMH will be very close.

7pm is no good, since they let anyone online at closing ride, it usually takes 30 minutes or so to die down.

I would say..save Fantasmic for another night, bounce back and forth between tower and the coaster between 745 and 9, grab a fast pass for one last ride, and see other attractions in other areas after fantasmic at 830 gets out

Last May on EMH night, closing time & Fantasmic was 9:00. I got through the front gate at 9:00 and got my wristband. I walked on ToT twice, but when I went over to RnR, Fantasmic had just let out and it was about a 20 min wait. I wanted to get there at 8:30 but I waited forever for a bus at OKW. I think 8:30 would have been perfect, I would have been able to walk on both twice.
