I don't know what a cruise travel kit is either?
We are getting ready to go to a cardinal game in St. Louis. Go Cards
I can start booking stuff today so I'm going to try and see if I have enough time before we go!
Hi everyone,
The Travel kit is a information packet, book that has all the info about excursions, restaurants, kids clubs, tips on what to pack what to wear and so on. I got mine about 3 weeks ago but many are still waiting for theirs and some have received theirs yesterday.
If you don't get one in the next week or so just call and follow up. Most of the info you will find on the
DCL website.
Have any of you figured out what your excursions will be? Not to much longer you can start to book them. If your final payment is made you can start to book if you are a Castaway member around the 21st of this month.
We will be doing the Zipline Canopy Tour in PV but not through Disney. We will be doing it with Los Veranos Canaopy tours. Don't forget that ship time and PV tine are an hr difference if you book a tour away from DCL.
We will also be doing to Beach Buggy and swim in Cabo.....will most likely do our own tour in Mazatlan with either Mazatlan Frank or someone at the port.
It's getting closer and cant wait. I will be at DL why you are all cruising. So has anyone decided to come up with a T-Shirt logo for your group? Fun even if you don't get a Tshirt but to make a logo and put onto a magnet(can get magnet paper at
Walmart) to put on your doors.
I will have a magnets of my last cruises and family and the logo for our group that someone designed. Oh and the Mickey ears to put on the cabin number so it looks like a Mickey head!
We also have the logo put on mugs and hats and stuff through Capree(sp) website to pick from. I always get the mugs.
Also if you want to book Palos be sure to not book it in the night of the pirate party...will see if I can find out when the PP will be. Also the Brunch is great if you decide that. Be sure to do it on a sea day. But remember that is when everyone else will be picking it also. So Mon Fri and Sat will book up fast. But don't fret there are always cancellations.
In addition for those of you that don't know this. If you are out at the port and have early dining and miss it but still want to eat. You can go to Topsiders and they will have a waiter and the same menu as in the dinning rooms that night. The only thing is that you will need to leave a tip. They are waiters in training but they are great and the service is wonderful. You can go in in nice dress shorts also, DH has worn his nice shorts in there as many others do and I have worn my more casual pants ...you can take the kids also.
We have eaten there many a night after coming back late from port and have missed our dinning time.
Before ya know it the time will be here! cant wait
