So Vern...where were you...I was on the Monorail 9,000 times(long story) and could not find you. I saw Brian, Jessee, Dan, and 50 others and they said you just left or you were on in the morning or that you would be back in the evening....can't believe that I could not find you!!!!1

The long story is that my 10 y.o got sick first day we were there with flu like symptoms and we all took turns watching him. My 13 y.o loved hanging in the room so he was only at the parks a little bit but my niece and I hit the parks the most. Guess my 13 y.o had done 2 much Disney but is there such a thing

So we were back and forth on the Monorail soooo much to check on them in between all the phone calls. We were staying at the GrandCalifornian and it is a beautiful Hotel and when they open up DVC Villas there we will be buying some pts there.

By the way it is fun riding in the front and that was the first time we did that. Also if you see Jessee tell him that he had an admirerer(sp) from my niece. She got a crush on him. Ask him if he remembers the person who was asking for you and the 16 y.o girl with me liked him....that is also another reason why we road the Monorail 9,000 times instead of walking from Main street to CA to the hotel, we had to go around in circles so she could get her Jesse fix by the way do you know how old he is????
So the next time we are there we will try to hunt you down again.....

I was thereTues & Wed. Looked for ya both days Jesse told me that you were looking for me (or it was some lady asking for me) I figured it was you. I'm not sure how old Jesse is? Sorry we missed each other. Vern

Sorry we missed each other Vern, will have to touch base next time. Would be nice to say hei befor the cruise. We will be back this summer so will try again. So funny that we missed each other since we were on th Monorail sooooo much. Must not have been ment to be yet

Just checking in. First day back to work after Spring Break. We didn't really do anything just went to a Cardinal game and froze our tushies off!

I am so looking forward to next summer! My decision now is how many days to go beforehand to do the parks and stuff. I saw the citypass thing when looking at DL materials and am wondering how I can squeeze some of that in too, or if I should!

I was reading another thread and they are no longer letting you turn in pillowcases and getting all the signatures, and if I read it correctly you can't get princesses!!! How unfortunate! They said an increase in numbers, plus some people are selling them on ebay!

Got to get back to work!

Bummer - that means I can no longer get my replacements - I gave some away to little kids thinking I could replace them - darn! Oh well - it was only a matter of time right!

Hi everyone,
Hope your all well. Well I may be cancelling this cruise due to DVC pts being so high and also cash value. We can do it and afford the back to back but are thinking about doing 7 days GCH concierge and going to DL, Ragging waters(rated #3 water park in USA) , Universal Studios, and Knotts berry farm and all is in the area.

Instead of costing 1140 in pts it will cost us only 444 in pts. And the cash value is exactly the same. We wre not sure yet but need to make a decision soon.

If I do I will keep this thread going and add the names as they come in. You can also PM me to add names and info on the first page

We really want to do the 2 weeks cause 1 is just to short but can play more at WDW and DL using our pts and save for the 2011 cruise. Will let you know this week about what we decide.

okay so we did it we cancelled...but I will stay on board this thread if you choose not to start a new one. I am on the comp everyday and can keep things posted.

I can bring info here as I learn from my other thread for the July 27th....If you choose to start a new thread just let me know cause will still pop over and feed you any info that I find.

Vern will be at DL again for 5 days or more in July or Aug this summer so still want to say hi to ya

Sorry to hear that you won't be joining us, but I understand cost comparison.

BTW did you change our stateroom number on the first page when we switched? We are now in Walt Suite and I didn't know if you changed it.

It is a drag that we won't be going with you but I can still share in the excitement with you. When you are hoping on the ship we will be starting our DL vacation for 7 days before our cruise. Also I will be heading on the same cruise one week after so we can all get excited and plan and talk about what excursions we are going to be doing and figuring out what ones may best.

Sure there will be a bunch of people going to DL prior also so I can join in on that excitment also. Sure cant wait and wish it was this summer and we were all gearing up!!!!

Just thought I'd say hi! Anyone else wish we were cruising this summer?

I'm pretty sure we will get our new house. We had a home inspection yesterday and everything looked pretty good, no major repairs!

all - took a 2nd before I found this thread again - where's my old pal Vern? haven't seen or heard from you - went to DD on Saturday and looked for you at the Monorail - no Vern - will probably stop by mid-week in case your scheduled. Oh yeah - checked out the Disney Vault - expensive! I prefer the Disney Store myself - much cheaper!

In the meantime, just had to say - I'm up late as I just booked our Med excursions (90-day mark) was actually not that bad although I didn't get one I really wanted - got my 2nd choice though so I can

I was especially nervous as I had never booked online before - we're repeat sailors but never booked online - it was fairly easy - made a mountain out of a molehill - will recommend it to those that haven't done it - just save to your wish list = filter your wish list excursions come your day to book excursions and voila - I was done in 10 minutes - DD was done in 8 - youngsters are just quicker at this I guess!

My name is Robin and I started this thread but cancelled my cruise for that week and am going the following week from July 27-Aug 3. I will be keeping up with this thread and info. on first page.

We were planning on doing a back to back crusie one using our DVC (Disney Vacation Club) pts for 1 week and cash the 2nd but the pts were to high so we cancelled. We will be doing 7 days at DL prior to crusie and doing DL, Universal Studios, Ragging Waters, Knotts berry farm all the time staying at GCH(Grand Californian Hotel)

so we can all pass on info about what excursions we will be doing and DL stays. I will put your info on first page...do you have a Dh and do you have late or main seating and where are you from?

eeyorelvr, it's getting close for you. Did they have some great Excursions for the Med cruise? Sure would have liked to do that cruise but not up to the flight. To many hrs from Ca. about 14 each way...yuck!!!!

By the way I looked for Vern and kept missing him also...his friends did give him a message that were hunting for him
