I am a little confused did we decide for sure how we are doing the FE exchange? I am buying stuff and I just want to make sure I am doing it right. Are we doing it 2-3 times and getting stuff for all 14 or 15 rooms participating? Or am I completely wrong? Just want to make sure I get the right thing because it is getting so close

I've been wondering about that too. I remember we talked about splitting into 2 groups and alternating days, but I also think there was something about just doing it once.

Vern and Karen - I think we need your help to get us on the right track! Please

Well it's over for the Lakers and the Celtics really mopped our rear ends all over their floor tonight. Oh well, there's always next year.

Regarding the FE, I assumed we were doing this only once (possibly delivering a few items at once) so if this is something that will be done several times or to ones discretion than I need someone to please clarify this for me.

OK! Here is the plan...
You will be assigned a day during the cruise to give your gifts to each stateroom. (one gift is required, if you would like to give one to each person, that is up to you, also if you want to give more than just one day, you can do that too, but please give on the day your assigned). Please keep in mind that some folks can't afford to give much. Also, this gift is to represent you, your family, or your town that you live in.(side note: get your childern involved in this, they will have a blast going around the ship! It's also great exercise for all the food we are going to eat!) It's just a memento of our group that we sailed together. All we ask that if you put your name down for FE that you give also.

We will be putting a list together of stateroom #'s and names of the participants (if you'd like to personalize your gift). This list will be handed out at the first meeting just before the Sail Away Party. (more info to come on where that will be and the time.) Please don't burden yourselves with a lot of gifts to bring. You've got plenty of things to pack besides Fe's gifts. Remember, you're on vacation.

Yes, my heart is heavy tonight. Unlike Tiger Woods, the Lakers didn't bring their "A-game" tonight. Karen tells me all the time, "Aren't you glad that you happiness doesn't depend on whether the Lakers win or lose?" I hate it when she says that. Gotta Love her! God knew I needed her in my life....just to keep me straight.

Hi again, I have not received my packet yet either but will let you know when I do. We are in Cabin 7567 deck 7. Mabe we can meet and compare stories of living in Japan then and now. How old is your son? Mine is 11. Do you have a favoriet kisaten overthere. Is this your first cruise? it is ours and we are sooooo!!! excited.

We are also deck 7, cabin 7124. It is our 5th cruise together.....but our first Disney cruise. We actually love cruising. Perhaps it brings back good memories for us as my husband and I met on a cruise ship. Our son is 3 years old and is counting the days until he gets to see Mickey Mouse. Yes - let's get together. We'd love to hear your memories of Japan.

We do have a couple of very cute kissaten nearby our apartment....but really, Starbucks is everywhere, including the lobby of the building I work in. Not quite the same atmosphere!

Well folks......it is the start of the "rainy season" here. I laugh because that is followed by "typhoon season"......and then the hot humid summer. the weather in California and Mexico should be a nice change for us.

Please do let us know when you all receive your cruise documents and exactly what they contain.

I've been checking for Palo reservations recently and do see that there are 6:30pm reservations available on the night of departure. Probably too early in the cruise for us.....but for someone here it might work.

I kinda know what I would like to get for the game but it would be nice to know about how many to pick up. Even a rought number would be good so if more join I can pick up a few extra. I would like to buy them soon enough so if they do not have enough I can still go back for more.

For a quick reference, you can go to Page 1 on this thread and scroll down to where it reads Who is participating in the FE's. I don't think the number of participants is set in stone at this time since more people may want to join in closer to our cruise date. I'm also winging it. One good thing is that Robin updates Page 1 periodically.

It's much easier if you check-in online and print our your documents...but you will need the tickets when you check-in at the port.

Hey Kathy, just saw this post, a word of advise. Don't get the reseis for 6:30pm the day of the cruise. Karen & I had that res. back in 2005 and we almost didn't get there. We had to wait for our suitcases to be delivered to our stateroom. And it was 5 minutes before our res when we got them. We rushed...almost ran for dinner. Of course now we laugh about it, but back then it wasn't funny. Thought I'd just put my 2 cents worth in. Vern

Thanks for the email. I am having construction done in my house and thats all I can think about. I need to start thinking about the cruise because we only have one month. If anyone has a 8 year old girl my daughter would love to talk to them. I will start checking the disboard everyday! Can't wait to meet everyone!!
