Spoke with the Disney Cruise Activities Specialist about not being able to get Palo reservations online for 10 of us. She was so nice and was able to get my group of 10 a 6pm ressie at Palo so we could all be together. Yeah, for pixie dust!

Whoever is up for a "Dis" meet & greet onboard, please come to the Promenade Lounge at 3 pm Monday Jan 2nd - this time seems to work out well - before the life jacket drill but gives everyone time to have lunch and explore after boarding....

REALLY hope to MEET you all there!!!!

We'll definitely try to meet up as well.

I tried to contact DCL to get reservations, but they said they could not help me. Do you have a number where I can reach a Disney Cruise Activities Specialist?

I actually talked to a helpful DCL agent who gave me a fax # and said he couldn't guarantee they would respond but figured it couldn't hurt. I faxed in a request for Palo and the "Cruise Activities Specialist" actually called me back within 2 days of my fax. She was very friendly. I will PM you all the info that I was told to fax in.

A dining update:

I called DCL today and confirmed the dining themes:
Mon Rotation
Tues Formal
Wed Rotation
Thurs (PV) Pirate
Fri (Cabo) Semiformal
Sat Rotation

She said that they don't have the dining rotations set yet, but Mon, Wed, and Sat must all be different dining rooms.

There will be a character breakfast, as there are 3 days at sea.

We had wanted to have Palo dinner on Pirate night, but at least this way we won't miss a rotational dining night, just semiformal.

If anyone is interested in swapping reservations, we have Palo Day 5 (Cabo) for 2 at 7PM that we'd swap for Day 4 (PV).

YES! If I can figure out how, I'll post the video. They were SO surprised and a kind of stunned for a while, especially DS when he realized he would have an extra week off of school...and then "thrilled" to learn I had all of his assignments for him.. The reaction was worth keeping the secret for sure

Now that I'm back home from Christmas celebrating, it's time to get everything in order for this trip! We leave Friday night for LA.

A question on the FE: By my count, there are 13 cabins. The spreadsheet I have from Brenda has ?'s listed for 3 of those rooms: Gigi817, Audieec1993 (x2), and GTY for 1 room: JacksGirlz cousin. Are there any updates on what those cabin numbers are?

I hope I didn't miss any changes to the FE list (the last update I have is when Kim's family got added). If anyone knows of one, please let me know ASAP, as I have to put them together this week.

We'll be at the DIS meet at 3PM in the Promenade Lounge. Any other Rose Bowl watchers (Badger or Duck fans)? Our plan is to camp out in Diversions at 1:30 to watch the game, as I assume that's where we can find it showing. (I figure the meet with be about halftime.) We have tickets to the Rose Parade that morning, and then we are heading to the ship after that.

What's the deadline for online check-in/activity changes online? Thursday? Friday? 11:59PM on that day?

i have 18 staterooms - will send you an updated spreadsheet - there are still a couple of questionable room no's but i am hoping to hear from everyone before sat...i WILL bring some printouts of everyone's room no. to the onboard DIS meet Monday - 3 pm at the Promenade Lounge - REALLY HOPING to see you all there!!!

Just in case, my cousins, Maria and Mikaela, have room # 7631. They are just around the corner from our rooms. Looking forward to meeting everyone. We will all be in blue embroidered cruise ship shirts for our first family DCL photo. I even talked the men into wearing them.
