Good morning to all! Looks like its going to be a pretty day.

My house is soo quiet right now! Ive got 4 teenage boys asleep in Brad's room LOL, im so happy he is home. I love having those stinky boys here. But I will say I can do with out the text messaging. Brad texted me from 1:30 to almost 3 am this morning to ask me questions.. can the guys sleep over.. then to tell me who was coming, then to ask where the blankets were.. where the frozen pizzas were ... HOLY CRAP... and when i would answer he would have to respond OK.. good lord boy! I was just in the other room, guess he didnt want to keep opening my door. My lil one is still piled up in the bed with his daddy.

I dont know what we are up to today, but im dying for some brisket and potato salad, but have a feeling we will end up on the river for the day.

Tricia your dad looks GREAT! So glad to hear he is feeling better, my dad is a tad younger than yours, but looks alot like yours .

Kathy-Good luck to Kyle. I was talking to my dad today about Prep sports. He said something along the lines about "Hey did you hear about that Shaw kid, who threw a no hitter"....I was like YEAH SURE DID! lol

Hey y'all!

Not much going on today- DH is working (as he does every holiday, pretty much )

It's hotter than hot out there! It's making my morning walks a bit more difficult, so I ordered the Wii Fit to help with my exercise routine.

I'm so excited, DH was looking for Disney songs on a CD and I found a box set on ebay that has 125 songs from the movies! He is making some CDs for our road trip with the Disney songs on it so we can play "What movie/ride is this song from?" So much fun- yes we are COMPLETE DORKS!! At least it will make the time go by on that 10+ hour drive.

Tricia- So glad to hear your Dad is doing better, and I agree, he looks great!

Terry- Have you started packing yet?

Stephanie- I had to laugh at the escape artist picture- looks like little Mr. Mischief! And the cake looks beautiful (and yummy!)

Kathy- I'm glad you found a petsitter! We have that problem as well- we have one person that can normally do it, but if she weren't available, it would present a huge problem for us.

Mary- Your vacation sounds GREAT! Can't wait to hear about Disneyland, I've always wanted to go there.

Sheryl- Is Miss Alexis back yet telling you all about her trip?

I'm taking advantage of my last quiet day for a while! DH had to work today (floating holiday). So after I got him off, I went back to bed & slept until 11:00!

Tricia, I'm so glad you're Dad is doing so well! He really looks great! Now that your sister is here, try to get some rest!

Kathy, Glad you're finally feeling better! Also happy you found a pet-sitter & will be able to catch a few games! Did Kyle decide on Delgado?

Jenny, Glad you're happy to have a house full! At least you didn't have to go wait on them hand & foot in the middle of the night!

Stephanie, The cake is beautiful! Good luck with your little escape artist! When DD was that age, we had to add & change locks all over the house. She was a night roamer & great at getting into & out of anything!

Lorie, I don't think that's a dorkie idea! Even without a little one in the car, we'll still play some Disney music on the way! That really qualifies us as Disney Dorks!!

I spoke to Alexis on the phone, but she won't be here until tomorrow. The trip home was not so good. Alexis cried & cried when they left Disney. Then the drive home was tough for her. She kept asking & crying "Are we in Mississippi yet?" then "Are we in LA. yet?! They had really bad weather in the panhandle, so that made it worse.

Alexis has decided that the "Drop Elevator Ride" was way too scary & she NEVER wants to ride again! And yes, she has lots & lots to tell me about!

Thanks Sheryl, I'm feeling MUCH better! Kyle hasn't decided yet, he made All District and the school in Kansas upped their offer last night...

I teared up thinking about Alexis crying when she had to leave. She's going to talk you to death!!

Stephanie- I forgot to mention that Sienna walked over to me last night and handed me her wet diaper- uh oh! That is the first time she has ever shown any interest in her diaper. I think I'm in trouble now! MIL told me that when they start doing that it is time to start potty training...we'll see about that!

Sheryl- Oh, believe me, we'd still play Disney music even if DD weren't there- it is really more for us than her!

Like Alexis, I always cry when we leave WDW too! I always cry when we leave the MK on our last day and then again when we drive out of our resort. I remember years back when I went with my old boyfriend before DH I started crying while we were waiting for the airport shuttle at POR. Some of the guys from bell services came over and tried to cheer me up- they were so sweet. It was sooooo embarassing (but pretty funny now!).

At least I'm not alone! DH knows I'm a boo-hooer and starts telling me to be strong, we'll be back before you know it, etc. because he knows the waterworks will be coming as soon as we get near the exits.

We clearly have something that bonds us all together! Yes, I tear up when we leave the resort! After 25+ trips, it's still hard to leave& I just can't help it! It broke my heart hearing about Alexis crying. Of course Chris was already tearing up & really had a hard time trying to console Alexis!

Whew, The humidity outside now is so thick, you could cut it with a fork! Ugh, my AC vents are dripping & I'm having to go around with a sponge mop to dry them off. And it's only the beginning of summer???

Hi guys - I have been a very busy woman these past few days...Ripping and running from party to party with DD. I have also been shopping for DD. She will be attending LSU's Overnight Gymnastics camp which starts Sunday June 6th, the day after we return from Disney. It lasts for 5 days. I decided to get this stuff ready now because I will be too tired to do anything when we return on Sunday.

Unfortunately I have not started packing yet either. I will start tomorrow. I know I need to get on it.
