I'm still in shock- we won the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would do anything to watch Drew in the parade in the Magic Kingdom today!

The party outside was loud and went on for a long, LONG time! DH was running around outside hootin' and hollerin' and hugging people he didn't know. He even made me stop the pee patrol- "aw, just let 'em pee...I'll turn on the sprinklers tomorrow".

I think it is so funny that we have a new mayor and it is totally just forgotten. There was just a small excerpt to the side on the news that said "Mitch Landrieu elected mayor of New Orleans".

Bethany and Cara- you went down to Bourbon?!- I'M SO JEALOUS!!!! I wish I could have been there. Dang kids.... I can't believe you're up already- impressive!

I overheard SEVERAL people discussing where to pee last night...i.e. what corner was best.

Let's see...this weekend rocked.... parades, a new mayor, AND a Superbowl WIN?!?!?

So all that hype leading UP to the game still didn't sink in. Once I SAW them on the field I was like....oh, they weren't kidding....this is the REAL DEAL!!!

Yes Bourbon. I kept asking myself who this strange person (me) was! SO NOT something I would normally do!

I'm working on uploading some pictures and video now.

WOW! To top it all off, I get 2 phone calls this morning, from each of my boys' teachers. They both made Student of the Month!!!!!! Beaming with pride....what a rollercoaster ride I am on! I can't help but cry!

And I just saw the commerical with Drew Brees saying he was going to Disney World & his precious son was in his arms. I cried again.....especially when I saw the Black & Gold Mickey balloons!!!!

Yes... I was wondering what I was doing in the Quarter so late on a Sunday night myself. But it was a blast and amazing and I am so glad I went. I was even more amazed my DH let me go.

Today is like a dream, I turned on the TV first thing to make sure I didn't dream all of this!
