I'm not that upset about the goldfish- circle of life and all. But if he had gotten my turtle, it would have been war!

I'm still telling DH about this raccoon incident...I don't think he realizes how traumatic it was! I know that the beastly raccoon was gnaring his teeth at me, if I had been able to see. He also did the raccoon noise when he jumped out at me- like a battle cry!

I'm not able to do lunch either- Saturday isn't going to work for me. But I hope y'all have fun!

Lorie, Why are the men never around when animals attack?! I was fussed at for going after a gigantic possum in the backyard with a broom, so I'm going to pass that on to you .... Lorie- that raccoon is crazy! I have been hearing raccoon stories a LOT lately. Mostky around chickens. But yours was scary, the way you descrobed it reminded me of E.T. when Elliot sees him in the wheat/corn field....

Not all sugar cane is the old fashioned peel and suck kind. I thought it was all the same too but it isn't. The cane he grows has to go to a mill to get be processed.

Awwww Shhhh...but there are days where I forget too. Then there are days where it's sooo obvious I just got here.

It looks like a cross between corn and grass. Now I want to go out there and see it in real life. What's it sound like when the wind blows through it? What's it smell like? Who's up for a road trip?!?


I'm going through a ton of photos on my computer. I need to sort them and back them up. It's mad tedious. It's a little strange looking at all the photos from NYC. It was not even a year ago yet when I was down here for the first time. Actually, I'm not even sure if the trip had been booked yet at this time. Now I'm all curious.

Okay...I looked. I booked on 9/30 for a 10/17 trip!
