rie's mom, Your DD is a very lucky girl! I think you don't even have to count BC to YC as a change, right? I agree seperate rooms would make me nervous too. I hope the weather allows lots of use of SAB for y'all!

She's a sweetie 99.9% of the time so I love doing things for her.

Nah, not really a change but I did throw the GF in there between the BC and the YC for a day.
Rie and her friends are good girls. Even though I'm 51, I remember being braver with my friends. I don't want them to be tempted to sneak out of the room. It has become the thing to do with her cousin and some of their friends. I would have a heart attack if they tried it. Her cousin, for that reason, has not been invited on this trip. She has accompanied us several times in the past but not this time.

I didn't get an email either, I just called and asked and told them I had a Disney Visa-which they then put me on hold to check for!

Ya'll, this is crazy, I swear! My only true friend at work confided in me today that our boss and co-workers have been mad at me for not working when they want me every time they ask. I am PRN. I work almost all the times they ask, but sometimes I do half days. This is MY life and I CHOSE to homeschool my kids-THIS is my f/t job, and PRN means I CAN tell you NO if I CHOOSE too. Then our bosses boss came in and "hinted" to us that the PRN "people"(there is only ONE-me) may not be as necessary after they hire a part time person. gulp, ooookaaayyyy. Disney is looking like it will be miraculous IF we get to go. They are also looking into the "problem" of our dept... RIGHT then a cardiologist came in and -itched to her about the embarrasment of our dept and how much he hates how things don;t work well. THAT got her attention....grrrrrr.

DH started making a budget without my income......we will be really cutting back!

Yep, it is! At the house I grew up in, we used to get crawfish holes all around the back yard- and the crawfish would come out when it rained! I thought it was kind of neat.

I cannot picture this. At all.

It rained here yesterday...about 0.5 inches after 12 hours or so (it was a light rain ) ....and all that came out were a few worms. I think I saw 3.

Oh and you need a hug too.

And I'm with you- I went upstairs in my bedroom earlier, laid down, and just watched CNN. I didn't want to be bothered by DH (this was before he went to work), I didn't care if DD destroyed the house. I just wanted to be ALONE.

I wish there was something more I could do. I promise things with Sienna will get better Lorie, it's hard to believe now but you will look back on these days and have nothing but wonderful memories, the struggles will not be remembered.

Just listening is more than helpful. And I do hope I remember more than just these struggles- it would make me sad to just think of that.

DH is so in the doghouse now- he got another one of those traffic camera tickets! This is the second one in a month. This time for speeding, last time for a red light. I can't WAIT to hear the excuse this time . Has anyone else gotten one of those stupid tickets?

Actually it was kinda my fault that he got ticketed in the first place. This was when he was with gf #1 and I told him he'd better not be late getting home and he was hurrying. But from what I've heard in Orleans parish they're really ticketing a lot.

Kendall tries out for cheerleader again today. It's hard to believe that the year is almost over and they are gearing up for next year already. Good thoughts are welcomed. I think this year is more of a formality for trying out and she isn't nearly as nervous as she was last year.
