metal balcony in handicap room

We booked 7138 and now see that the aft balconies are metal How is my son going to see out sitting in his wheelchair? That seems strange that the handicap rooms were designed with the metal enclosure. Anyone else have this room and not be able to enjoy the view

Are you speaking of a stateroom on a ship or a resort room...and if a resort. which one?

I think it's the ship since it's the aft balcony. I can't help other that. You would think they would do something to make a view for a guest in a wheelchair, but maybe there is some really good reason why they can't.
