I was out Christmas shopping yesterday (YAY!!!!! I'm done).

I cant tell you where I was shopping, as I was shopping for John and if he knew where I was....he might guess what he's getting.

But as I'm strolling along, slightly oblivious, I hear someone say "I recognize you".

I had the pleasure of meeting Royster83. Roy is the gentleman that works on the train in England.

I asked him how he recognized me and he said from the cruise video.

(Note to self....if Mariah Carey can have 20 white kittens, I am going to have a "no photography rider" in my contract.:lmao:)

It was terrific getting to talk to Roy. I hope he has a great time on the rest of his holiday.

I have sworn Roy to secrecy as to where we met....so even if you know where Roy was yesterday......dont post it.

Luckly Perez Hilton was not around to take a picture for all to see. You are POPULAR (sung with a Wicked tune).
Don

Oh, I'm so glad you're done with your shopping. So what did you get me? :rotfl2::santa:

Kevin - How fun

Probably one of my favorite "recognize one of the podcaster" stories, is the one where you are waiting in line for Candlelight Processional (WDW version), and you weren't very happy, and someone behind you heard your voice. ;) I chuckle everytime I think of that. :teeth:

I met a DISer last weekend. Of course I wasn't recognized like Kevin.

I was shopping at Woodfield Mall in NW Chicago and was in the Disney Store. A nice young lady was puttting away some Ariel dolls and we struck up a conversation about DVC. Says she's been going to Old Key West since 1993, so I lowered my voice and asked, "Are you a DISer?"

A resounding "Yes I am" was the response. We talked a bit more but I just can't remember her screen name. Very very nice lady and the Disney Store has a real gem in having her as an employee.

I'm planning on wearing our DIS t-shirts (give kids the world) when on property next time in hopes of connecting with a fellow DISER - I want my DH to know I'm not the only Disney passionate person (I choose passionate over obsessed, sounds better) out there!:thumbsup2

Was it Gefferic....Susan? I was at the Disney Store yesterday and saw her working and chatted to her about DAP. She is leaving tomorrow! Have a good time Susan! I had met her previously at the last DISmeet at the D2D store though.

Were you walking out of the restroom? :rotfl2:

Kevin isn't it fun to connect with other DISers?? TheBigGuy always cracks up when someone walks up to ask about my lime green mickey head hanging off my pocketbook, or my DIS shirt..... he ccalls DISers my "imaginary friends".

I think he means that in a good way....lol.....
