Messages at FW

DH and I were talking last night, and since we have always stayed at the resorts, never FW, we came up with this: How do you get messages if someone needs to contact you? Sure, we have cell phones, but I would think there would be something else. Our phone plan is a "pay as you go" plan and I know there are times when we're not able to use it. ("Public Roam" or whatever...our oldest had problems when she took hers to DC this year.) Since she won't be coming with us this trip, I wanted to have a back-up in case she can't reach us on the cells.

I know if the front desk needs to get a message to you, they'll put a note under the windshield on your car! I'm not sure about phone messages though...I've never received one there.

We received a phone message while at the fort it was taped onto our tt door. Hope that helps.

If your staying at the cabin, then you'll have the same resort phone that you've used previously to make calls and recieve messages. If your at a campsite....the way we've recieved them in the past is they put the message under your window blade of your car truck, motorhome. We had ours on the truck at our site. The only downside I could see to this was the message came late one time and one other time when I had no clue I had one I didn't see it til the next day. My advice...Make sure if it's an emergency that they either call your cell or tell the front desk that it is an emergency.

As has been said above, the FW CM's will bring a message to the site. Some are better than others in placing them in a spot you will see the message.
