Message to DISigners

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the DISigners (past and present) for all the hard work you do. I have made a few designs and they have taken me hours. I can't believe that you guys take so much time out of your free time to make DISigns for people you don't know. I just wanted you all to know that there are MANY, MANY people who appreciate you.

I thank you very much for your kind words - It means a lot to be appreciated.

It is a big job at times (and honestly speaking - MOST of the time). Everyone's patience and kindness is greatly appreciated. Because we are just average people working as hard as we can for often hours a day.

I can only speak for myself - but it is very rewarding. It feeds my addiction to design as well as helping so many enjoy Disney even a little bit better. And of course, it never hurts to hear how wonderful I am, a few times a day. ha! ha! It's great for one's self esteem.

I agree with Amy! Very rewarding, especially when people share pictures (hint, hint).

It is very demanding too. Each designer has to choose for themself how much time they want to devote to it or it will take over.

Penny, thank you for your kind words as always. You are always so gracious and appreciative and there are many people here who have benefited from your wonderful designs as well.

I would like to say thank you also. I have no idea how any of the DISigners have time to do all the request. I spend all my time now (except when I am at work) on here just looking and getting ideas.

I have not had to request any DISigns. I have tried to find blank ones that I can personalize if need be. My two grandson are now blessed with several cute shirts with DISsigns I found on here. Now I can't wait to start me some!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all the dis signers also. You guys are bringing so much magic into our lives.Just the fact that you are so willing to share your talent with people that you've never even seen before is a gift in it self. On behalf of Ds , Dh, and myself we would love to say we appreciate each and every minute you have spent helping us out. The look on my Ds face when he sees a t-shirt made for our up coming trip is priceless.

I also want to thank all of the DISigners. You each spread the "Disney Spirit" with every design you create! It is amazing that you give so much of your time, imagination, and hearts for us.

I made so many requests for my upcoming trip, not realizing what a huge task that was. Now that I'm "dabbling" with photoshop myself, I also see how time consuming designing is. God bless you gals (& guys) for all you do....if you were getting paid by the hour for your designs, you'd all be filthy rich! Thanks for sharing your talents, it means the WORLD to our family! I too would like to add my thanks...
ds8 has ASD and during the easter hols we have spent hours going through designs choosing and sometimes adapting them to our needs. occasionally i have asked for help, rumbly tumbly has offered to do some ASD ones for us, and these will make a huge difference when we get to WDW - plus spending quality time with my son has been ace.
telynn has also done us a "family" one thankyou.
you are amazing people, especially when my offer of stuff from the uk (choc tea etc) was turned down, it made me cry the lovely message we got from teynn.
you are amazing, and rumbly, i get the hint i will post pictures when i get back from school later

Thank you for all of the kind words!
I struggle sometimes to keep up and honestly feel bad if I cannot fill a request on time. When I see a request with 20 something personalizations and 2-5 new designs (though I'm happy to help), It is very overwhelming. It's nice to hear that many do understand this.
I, like Amy and Kari, love DISigning and creating pixiedust. I few words of thanks (and pictures) go a loooooooong way.

PS...........I'd like to send a special thanks out to all of those Fairy Godmailers that have added some Pixiedust to my little corner of the world! It means more to me and my family than you can ever imagine!

I definitely want to add my THANK YOU to all the DISigners as well! As I have said before, I don't have a crafy or computer literate bone in my body so I would never be able to create the extra magic for our upcoming trip without all of you! I have literally spent hours searching this thread back to last year and have been just amazed at all the wonderful creations! I can only imagine how much time it must take!

Special thank yous to the DISigners that have personalized or created a DISign just for us! I was telling my Mom about it and she couldn't believe that there is no 'fee' or charge involved! She is a waitress so she particularly loved the idea of the tip envelopes!

Our trip isn't until August. I hope to post of pics of our shirts when I make them and will definitely post a few of us wearing them!

You are all so generous with one priceless thing, your time. I can not tell you how much this means to every little boy, girl, mom or dad.

We have been saving for this trip for a VERY long time!! And to finally be able to go...I am trying to plan to make WONDERFUL memories for my kids and really make it special.... and so much of this board and you DISigners have helpied so much in that.

You all are so creative and I love watching and looking at all of the new things.

I have to give a big thanks, also. So many of you disigners have taken time from your family, so my family and I, can have a more magical vacation. All the creations get the kids so excited. At one point I wanted to give up on the shirts, (Not able to find the right color shirts, messing some of them up, husband changing his mind) I thought it was just my obssesion and my family thought I was crazy, but when I said," I'm just giving up!" They all started complaining, "No, we want our shirts, their so cute!" I felt excited again. Sorry to ramble on. I just hope you all know exactly what it is your doing for us all. It's really alot more than just making a design. It's helping make lifetime memories.

Each and everyone one of you have more talent in your little finger then I have in my whole body (and believe me it's a big one!) I also want to jump on the bandwagon and say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! for all the DISigns that have been made for me over the years and the AMAZING designers that made them. I have been able to make wonderful shirts for my Girl Scout troop which we wore with much pride during our trip in 2006. I have also had the pleasure of making them for my own family for our many trips to WDW including a surprise birthday trip for all four kids!!!

However, I also want to thank Penny! She was the one that started this thread, but without her, I wouldn't have the exact birthday invitations that my daughter dreamed of for her 16th birthday! Thanks, Penny!!!

You all are so wonderful and I envy your talents! You have been a blessing to many of us who are deficient in the designing department. You give of your time without expecting anything in return. You are truly MAGICAL people that spread a lot of pixie dust!!!
