Has anyone been to these over the holidays? If so what is included? Do you need your membership card?

I was at the 1st one this year on 12/1. It was fun. They had lots of characters for photo ops. Pluto and Goofy were walking around interacting. They had games and music for kids. They had displays set up where you could preview pins, they had cast members from the spa if you had any questions about that, etc. They had lots of tables set up w/cookies, hot or cold cider. There was also a bar towards the back as well (not free) They had a drawing where you could win a basket of items (sorry I forget whats in it) . They gave out DVC ornments on the way out.
And yes, you need your blue member card, they ask to see it before you enter.

Yes, I went last week! It's just before you enter Epcot from the Beach Club side-we only had to show one membership card (my sis was with me and she said she was my guest and they said that was fine). There was a DJ there and lots of kids activities, cookies and hot cider and a very small bar ($$$) in the back. There were a few sit down tables and stand up tables. Lots of disney characters and the big hit was when Mickey and Minnie came in.
It was an ok event, nice DVC puts it on, think if I would of had young children with me would of been more fun.
I am impressed with the efforts DVC is trying to put forth for the members.
In the 5 days I was there, we had the BC Annual Meeting, a meet the manager for coffee, danish and chitchat and the Merry Member Mixer.

We went to it also on December 1. My first one. Didn't know what to expect but it was a nice time. My kids loved it because of the dancing and characters. It was great to see Mickey and Minnie in their festive Christmas clothes. It was also great to see the Raindeer walking around and doing the Hokie Pokie with my DD!!

The ornament was cute too.

Do you know what time the party starts and for how long???

My husband & I went to the Mixer last week & enjoyed it. Having both hot & cold cider was nice & having several tables set up for the drinks & cookies was nice, too.

We got our photos taken with Chip & Dale & then Mickey & Minnie. Unfortunately Photopass could not find our M&M photos :(. Our photos with C&D had a glob of something on my shirt, so it looked like I slopped. I had the same shirt on at Photopass & the CM kept trying to say it was my shirt. I told him it was not. Oh well, ...

It is from 3pm-5pm.

I also went on Dec. 1st. You do need your i.d. or at least your room key stating you are a member. The cookies and cider were good. They had arts and crafts for the kids too. They were making Christmas ornements. I was a little bit disappointet in the lack of give-aways though. They had a raffel but there was only one prize! I kind of thought they might be giving away some hats, or mouse pads or something. I only stayed about 45 minutes. Maybe they gave stuff away after I left? All in all, it was a very nice event and the weather was perfect too! Everyone was very friendly.
