Over the river, thru the woods,
see the snow fall to the ground,
grandpa smiling as he greets you at the door,
grandma in the kitchen cook'n up a Christmas storm,
aunts, uncles, cousins, talking and playing games,
the candy dish abounds, pick your favorite,, no, take two,
smells of turkey, pie and plenty, wafer into the room,
the tree all light up, packages surround,
stockings hung and full by the chimney ,
music in the back ground, and singing along,
stoke up the fire place, put on another log,
oh what the heck, let in the dog,
forgive and forget, let's start a new year,
this is the day of Peace and Good Cheer.
A silent night and a prayer for all our loved ones
who couldn't be here to share with us in all,,
My whole heart and love go out to all the beautiful people
all over this world, who allow us to hold onto our freedoms and beliefs.
