Just taking the time to wish all my Dis-Buddies the most Blessed Christmas!

My prayer is that 2010 is much better for all of us, that the economy recovers, that the unemployed or underemployed find jobs they are happy & content with. I also pray good health for everyone and their families.

Most of all, I hope everyone finds peace and contentment in their lives in 2010.

You are a wonderful group of people, and am thankful I've met a good many of you and can call you "friend"!

I second that. It's so sad to see what Christmas has become. People rushing around being mean to each other at the malls and in traffic. The me me me syndrome that I regret seeing each year. I let my daughter do a list this year of what she wanted and she picked what I said she could get out and she wrapped it for some reason I don't know but it was so less stressful this year than before.

Merry Christmas all! We try to keep the focus on the meaning of Christmas, and the reason for it. That doesn't mean I don't find myself as cynical as the next guy, now and then.

I agree with you Donnie. What I do is have them make a list of THREE things that they want. 3 gifts because that is what Jesus got. I was done over a week ago. We don't get ridiculous on cost, I am a single mom after all. I don't buy for everyone on tarnation either.

This year has been rough on more people here than I would like to count (ourselves included). After making sure I remembered the reason we celebrate, I wanted to pass along the most blessed of wishes to all for a very Merry Christmas and a new year full of new horizons and good will towards all.
