Merida Meet and Greet

For the "signature" princess at MK she is always disappointing to me. I guess it's because she has such a regal demeanor. It makes her less personable. She's sweet but I can't ever call her fun. Maybe that's what makes Merida, Anna and even Rapunzel more fun. They are much more light hearted and fun loving characters. They can cut up and joke around and stay in character.

That's so true. I've never thought about it like that- Cindy is pretty regal and uptight. Still, it seems like most of the time I meet her, she rushes through my greet. She was a little condescending when I met her by myself in July- and keep in mind I'm only 17.

That's got to be why Merida, Anna, and Rapunzel are a lot more fun. Even Ariel.

Nah, it's not your age. She's been like that with my DGD too. And she's 6 (and younger on other trips)
I'll be putting her to the test next month when DH and I go alone. I'd probably not bother with M&G but I want to meet the Princes this time. Cindy's Charming, Aladdin and Naveen are the only guys we've gotten to meet over the years. So Flynn Rider, Philip and Snow's Charming are high on my list this time

Good luck! I've never met Aladdin or Naveen. The only prince I've ever met is Charming.

I will add that Merida was the best M&G we had and it wasn't even close. Merida went from "some princess" to princess 1A next to Elsa.

Merida is great! DD had a fantastic time teaching her to do the 'force push' during Star Wars Weekend! We knew she'd be game to learn!

Cinderella was great with my kids last time - probably the best princess interaction we had (Rapunzel was a close second). She was really warm with the kids, spent a lot of time with them, and squatted down on the floor with them. They were in heaven.

We missed Merida last time, but have her on our must-do list this time around. Good to know the wait is tolerable.

We saw Merida in September for the first time at the MNSSHP. She was HYSTERICAL! It was me and my 23 year old daughter. My daughter had a Halloween shirt on that said BOO so Merida was running around shouting Boo and "scaring" people...she was so much fun!

December hours just changed, and now MK opens at 8 every day rather than the original time of 9. Anyone know if Merida will bump an hour early also or stay at 9?

Get ready for your mind to be blown--- but this past October it was really late and had no line for the Cindy/Rapunzel line; so we went in.

Well, the Cinderella WAS AMAZING. She was funny, personable-- we had a HILARIOUS interaction where she talked about the Prince, birds as hairstylists (for the record she said she was going to have to teach the birds the 'do my friend had)... It got better and better. We were really looking forward to the Rapunzel interaction since Cindy had been so fun, and she was TERRIBLE!!! SO boring, it was like watching paint dry. And we've never had a bad Rapunzel interaction. It was so disappointing.

We might have to add this to our plans because it's something that mommy wants to do! :goodvibes:rotfl:

We got into Merida's line in July immediately after the afternoon parade. It was about a 15-20 minute wait for her to arrive. She was hilarious and one of our favorite meets, second only to Gaston.

Met her at MNSSHP which does not help with lines- unless you go to a party. But, I was very impressed with her. She was very interactive and lots of fun. I would highly recommend trying it – even if her wait is 30 minutes

Our little red haired princess adores all the red headed Disney princesses. So, even with an estimated 30 min wait, we got in line for Merida. I'm so glad we did. She was amazing! She greeted our curly haired red head by saying they were twins. Just a really great time.
