Tech question. I used to have a 128gb sd card in my phone. When it filled up I bought a 256gb card and transferred everything onto it. When that filled up I bought a 512gb card. Turns out my phone supports a max of 400gb so using that card seemed to mess some things up. So I took everything off the 512 and moved it onto a 400gb. Fast forward to today all of my files and stuff are there but some photos are corrupted, like half of the picture is green and things like that. I'm getting a new phone soon that doesn't have an SD card slot so I have to just copy everything onto my pc and move it directly onto the new phone. Before I do that I want to make sure I have all of the correct non corrupted files ready. I've already copied the 400gb card onto a folder on my pc. My question is, is there an easy way for me to take the 400gb folder (the corrupted one), and copy it to the 256gb folder but not copy any files that are already there? Basically just move stuff files and photos that were taken after I started using the 400gb card. I can't really do it by date because there are so many sub folders and it would take forever. Hopefully this makes sense.

Also wanted to add I still have all of the original cards and their backups on my PC

I *THINK* if you copy the contents of "Folder A" (or "Card A") onto "Folder/Card B", you should get a prompt when it hits a repeat. That prompt should have a box that says something like "do this for all items like this". Check the box and select "Skip". That should get everything onto the smaller card.

HOWEVER, I highly suggest cleaning out your phone. Do you REALLY need 300+ GIGS worth of photos for immediate access on your phone?

I'll try that thank you! Yes it's a lot but I have a TON of photos that I like to have on my phone. I thought about cloud storage but if I'm somewhere with poor connection I won't be able to access the photo right away. Also a ton of apps that use more storage than they should.
