Is the merch at downtown Disney the same as what’s available online?

I’m assuming there are further exclusive items within the parks?

Can anyone who’s been recently, or is there now, speak to the sweatshirt offerings? Or have any pics of what’s currently available in the parks? Specifically looking at hoodies/sweatshirts for adults and kids.

Downtown Disney shoudl have a lot of merch that is not available online. They will have some of the park merch, but other stuff may be found only in the parks or even at certain stores. If it's related to a specific attraction it amy only be near that location. It can vary really.

So much more in the Parks and DTD than at ShopDisney. I think ShopDisney should have more of a selection! But it’s nice to have park exclusive merch too.

There is definitely more merch in the parks and in Downtown Disney than what is online. If there is something you see there, I’d definitely recommend buying it at the time. I made the mistake of not doing so on a few items, thinking that I’d make sure and get back in the park the day we left and grab it before we headed out of town…time got away from me and that didn’t happen. Now of course I can’t get the items I wanted online.

There's definitely stuff that is Parks exclusive and not on ShopDisney and overall a wider selection of stuff. There are also random things that are on ShopDisney and not in the Parks. (I bought a Loungefly Women of the Galaxy bag on ShopDisney because it wasn't in the Parks, even though most of the stuff from that release was. And when I brought it to the parks a couple weeks ago, even a couple Cast Members were like... wait, why didn't we sell this here?!?)

If you join some of the Facebook groups for MK holders (there may even be FB groups for merch? idk?) sometimes people will post pics of new merch in the parks. Facebook can be a hive, but it might be good for that purpose.

You really have to go in all the shops. They all carry slightly different stock.

I feel like the sweatshirt selection has been a bummer recently… I was tempted by a black Avengers zip up sweatshirt, but that was really the only one appealing to me personally… There are as always a plethora of spirit jerseys.

Does anyone know if anywhere with the resort, they currently have the purple Joey Chau spirit jersey? I saw it online but it has WDW on back, I want the one that has Disneyland on back.

Yes, they for sure have it scattered throughout the parks. They definitely had it at Pioneer Mercantile and WonderGround Gallery (not certain about sizes though…).

Awesome, I'll be there 1st week of July, hopefully there still around and have my size.
