Merchandise question. Disney Tails?

back in August it was announced pet items called Disney Tails would be out in the Spring. Have not heard anything since. Anyone see this pet line at the parks or resorts?

I saw folks wearing them at Hollywood studios Friday night. Not sure where they bought then, but they were cute!

I saw some items at World of Disney on Saturday. I took notice because my four year old picked up one of the dog toys, a Minnie shoe. She said when we get a dog, I'm buying this.

They are selling some of the items now on DisneyStore.com I saw them this morning when I was on the site!

@disneylifestylers has posted some photos on instagram a few days ago of the range. I hope they expand and do more products, they look great.

These are the most disappointing things I have seen Disney produce. We are avid park merchandise fans, and collect Disney Art, and our house is full of stuff from the shops... We aren't too picky even! But these are just horrible. The toys are the cheapest plastic squeaky toys from Wal-Mart circa 1990. Same goes with the collars and food bowls. The bowls are plastic with basically a disney sticker on it. The collars are all for big dogs, we have 10lbs "kids", and non of the collars would come close to fitting them. Overall the quality just looked out of place and embarrassing being in the parks, I'm really surprised they let this go to shelf without firing someone and starting from the beginning.

That's sad to hear, MDanner. I have looked at what they sell online, both on the Disney site and sites that buy stuff at the parks, but haven't seen them in person yet.

After seeing these items in person I admit I was very disappointed...the collars, leashes and food bowls are too big for my 6lb Maltese. The toys are huge too - we did buy the Mickey Waffle and Minnie shoe but they are too big for her to play with. I also bought the Mickey Ears and Mickey Bar and she will play with those. I wish PetSmart still had the Disney line - it was great, lots of regular toys and bowls, leashes and collars, dresses and shirts etc and there was always something new for any of the holidays

Oh thank goodness they have big dog stuff. Usually my dog is the one left out.

I bought the Minnie shoe and the dogs love it! I was surprised that it was so big, but I have a 70lb lab/collie mix and and 65lb lab/pit mix so it was perfect for them. I also bought them a smaller sized soccer ball, which they also love. We found the ball at World of Disney in the Boys section and the shoe at what I think was Marketplace Fun Finds. (It was the place with the awesome grab bags)

We bought the collar, lead and Name tag, that resembles the cast member name tags. Unfortunately we found the collar and lead to be quite low quality and the lead is so long! The tag we love, instead of using the included transfer letters we took it to an engravers who engraved our dogs name and details which looks much nicer Hopefully they bring out a bigger range!
