Hi, I know that you can buy loads there but i was just wondering what type of things. I really want some Stitch things and Disney hoodies. But the main thing my mam would like to know is if she can get a Minnie and Mickey Christmas tree skirt there?? She has gone for the Minnie and Mickey theme this Christmas and really wants a skirt for the tree and she has seen one on the internet but doesnt want to buy it incase she see's one in DLP. But then at the same time she is worried incase she doesnt buy this one and then when we get to DLP, finds out that there is non because its too late to get one after that because its right near Christmas.

omg u will love it - i noticed ur staying in the Sequioa - excellent choice. i went at xmas last yr. its simply beautiful. remember to let us all know how u get on when u return!! lol even if it 3 months away haha

lol its like this little skirt thing that u put around the base / pot / whatever at the bottom of the tree. usuallyhas patterns and stuff on it. just makes it look more pretty instead of seeing the legs of the tree or the pot.

Awww thank you. Yeah its my first trip there and my first proper holiday away in 11 years so you can imagine just how excited i am!!! LOL I cant wait, Christmas time looks so amazing there, so perfect and magical. I'll deffo let you all know how it was. I'll be taking so many pics- i get carried away,lol.


thelittlemermaid83- thats what i first thought when i heard about a Christmass tree skirt, LOL. I was like what the?? Looks nice though when its on, just gives it the final touch and neatens it all up.

Over on DLPinfo (click here to read the article) there was a hint earlier this week of the new Christmas decorations arriving in the Christmas Store.

I think there's every chance of your mum finding a Tree skirt with Mickey & Minnie on at DLRP.

I know they do some lovely ones in the xmas shop in WDW as i manage to spend a fortune every year but i cant say i have ever seen the in DLRP before, but also i have never looked!

the xmas shop is in the castle
its easy enough to find once you walk under the portcullis

Mrs Stonfiesta- cool, thanks. Hope you have the best time ever! I remember when we were in WDW years ago when i was little, my mam was in love with the Christmas things there too,lol. They are just so gorgeous and special. She bought some really lovely things that we still put up every year.

We were desperate to get a Christmas tree skirt after regretting not buying one at WDW but unfortunately DLRP don't sell them ~ unless they have decided to stock them this year after getting so many enquiries (wonder who from?? )

In the end we had to wait three years until we returned to WDW where they had a choice of Mickey with Pluto, Tinkerbell or Winnie.

Ashleigh, if your mum really wants one IMO she's best to go for the one on ebay.

ETA: Just re-read this thread and see that Julie is going to look next week. Fingers crossed she will have good news!

Got back yesterday... well i had a look everywhere and they def dont seem to sell these in DLRP. they were getting the christmas decs really in some of the shops and there are some nice ones this year, i got the Mickey and Minnie Christmas teddies for 29 euro each, they are white victorian ones this year and they will stand very nicely next to the ones i got last year!!!!

Awww thank you so much everyone for helping and having a look. My mam wants to thank you all too. She was wondering though if they get new stock near Christmas or not with them having a special Christmas shop, like is it just like a constant supply of the same type of things throughout the year?
