We also ate at the Hard Rock on the Meal & Movie Special for 3 which includes the tax and gratuity for a total of $65.85. The per person cost is $20.60 ($21.95 for non-AP) before tax and includes a limited menu at the following CityWalk locations: Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Nascar Sports Grille, NBA City, Latin Quarter and Pastamore. We had 3 cheeseburgers, fries and a soft drink plus we got to see Robin Hood at the AMC Universal Cineplex. This was a great deal if you just want a burger.

Great idea.It will show newbies how resonably priced the food at Universal realy is.Just because the prices are cheap at UO does'nt mean the food quality is lacking one bit!:thumbsup2

Totally agree ~ we thought the food was excellent & very large portions - DH & I often split an entree.

We also ate at the Islands at RPR but I can't seem to find our receipt, it was also very reasonable and just about the best meal of the trip (we had been on the Deluxe Dining Plan at WDW for 2 nights before coming to Universal)

Here are prices at Three Broomsticks:

Thank you SO much for starting this thread! All the menus I find are old, it would help me to be able to budget better knowing prices. We booked our trip before I was cut to 2 days a week so this will be a lean one.

I love the prices!!!! We'll be back at Thunder Falls like always. :)

Thanks lildamo for the 3 Broomsticks prices (love the pic). I was hoping someone would have those prices. Of course now my mind is right back to WWoHP. I was trying to peel my eyes away from the HP threads because the excitement is about to kill me, but no matter where I go, somehow the darn wizard :wizard: follows me.

We are going in August and need to know how much we need to save up for food.
::yes::
I'm right there with the 2 of you. I'm the budget master (or as some might call it, budget miser) in our house, so I love to get a fairly accurate idea of how much things are going to cost before I get there. Just all a part of the planning fun!!!

I'm glad to see this too as others have mentioned, the menus I find are around 2 years out of date.
I hope we can eat at Mythos, Finnegans and Thunder Terrace, along with a couple of the cafes (since we'll be there 3 days and staying for open 'til close).
With Mythos, are its opening hours limited? Any idea what time it opens and closes?

The Universal website just says "lunch daily". I called about a week ago & I know they are open at 11:30. Not sure if they open before then (maybe 11:00) or when they close. I'm also wondering if they'll stay open through dinner with the WWoHP grand opening. I know I've read on these boards that Mythos sometimes stays open for dinner during the busier times.

Hmm very vague then! I guess we'll have to call IOA and ask whether Mythos is open late for that particular day. If it's open into the evening we can eat later and just have lunch somewhere quick. Does the menu stay the same for lunch and dinner?

Great thread, thanks for the 3 Broomsticks info!

I don't see Finnegans listed yet. Can anyone here tell me about this restaurant? I'm thinking about trying it in August.
