I have checked allears looking for lunch menu for Hollywood and Vine. It is very vague. Does anyone remember anything that stood out on the buffet? Thanks.

To be honest I have never has anything at HW&V that has stood out - it is one of my least favorite restaurants to visit when in HS. One of the only reasons my family keeps going is for the Playhouse Disney Characters.

The food was ok there, I think lunch is the same as dinner. The character interaction was great. Because it isn't very popular the characters have lots of time to play with the kids. Most of the meals I had at Disney were just ok. HW&V was lots of fun!

I was pleasantly surprised at H&V. Now, I should note that my expectations were pretty low after everything I read on the DIS, but I thought they had a lot of variety. The only thing I particularly remember is the mozzerella tomato salad.

We were just there last week and had the character lunch buffet at Hollywood & Vine. Honestly, we were quite disappointed with the food. But we LOVED the character interaction. They did have the standard mac n cheese and chicken nuggets for kids. Some of the things that I tried were a chicken alfredo something (tasted fishy???), some chicken with a creamy type topping ok, but not that good), some polenta thing (yuck, but I've never had polenta before), garlic mashed potatoes (pretty good), ceasar salad (ok but soggy and overpowering anchovies), a tomato pasta thing (not that good). There was however an orange pineapple chicken breast that was really good. There was also an ice cream bar with toppings and a few dessert items like cookies, cheesecake, brownies. I won't say it was "bad" but not good enough for us to go back or recommend it to others. Unless you are really looking for that character interaction, the food can be tolerated. Though most of the characters we saw there were near Playhouse Disney Live and the animation building.

Sorry for the length but hopefully it will be helpful.
